1948 Ford Other deluxe Description

Really nice Ford hotrod. great running flathead with no issues. no smoke, no over heating, even in 90 degree weather, very quiet and smooth. new dual exhaust that sounds like a flathead should. Transmission is very good, no grinding or popping out of gears. clutch is smooth with no chattering or slipping. Original brakes work as they should, with new master cylinder and shoes.Front suspension has dropped axle, with reverse eye spring. new king pins and bushings.Rear suspension has reverse eye spring. the car rides and drives very good.interior is original 1948 Ford and is very nice with minor wear,The frame and underside is nice, but has minor surface rust, but could be shiny black with some wire brushing, and paint, I just never felt the need to do so. The interior floor pans and trunk panare nice with no rust, or rust through.The paint and body is very nice, a few minor flaws, and small rock chips. I can see no signs of panel replacemen, or rust repair. no dents or big scratches.judging from the over all condition of the car, I would guess the mileage shown is actual, but I couldn't document that.
