1948 Ford Super Deluxe V8. This is an original survivor vehicle with only 55,XXX original miles and NO RUST on top or underneath. The previous owner stated that it was repainted in the early 90s (Monsoon Maroon) and it has held up remarkably well and is still shiny. It could probably use a repaint but I like it the way it is. It does have it's bumps and bruises but nothing unusual for a car this age. It has the original interior that still looks very, very good with the exception of a patch on the driver seat back and also by the door handles, see photos. Still has the original Ford glass which is in good condition. It has been garage kept its whole life. It has a newly rebuilt (twice) and restored radio, which was done by someone on Eba, but I can't seem to get it to play. In fact for some reason my home A/M radio doesn't get stations either, it must be the area. This car cranks up at the touch of the starter button and is ready for any long trip you may me dreaming of. It is a very easy & comfortable car to drive, And yes it keeps up with traffic. The only thing not original is the radiator and that it has been lowered with a Posies front spring and shackles in the rear. It is a very dry car and has no body water leaks. The original front spring & radiator come with the car. In the last few months the car has been upgraded with the following parts and is ready to safely hit the road. I am only selling this car because I have too many cars........and eight is too many. I trust it will go to a good home.

The radio started working today. I guess I didn't have it grounded good, but it takes about 10 minutes to warm up, plays good after that.
