1960 Ford F-100 Custom Description

Built for the 2011 SEMA show, this 1960 F100 is a show truck that's no slouch in the go department either. Featuring a ton of custom body and frame modifications, a wild custom interior, custom suspension and a rip roaring Coyote motor, you'll be sure to turn heads at shows.

Originally built for the show with a twin turbo Y-block, the drive line was swapped out for something that is as reliable as it is powerful, a Magnuson supercharged Coyote engine with a 4R70W transmission. The fuel system is all Aeromotive and the truck runs its tail off with the combination. Keeping everything cool is a Be Cool polished radiator, and the mighty Ford exhales through a custom stainless exhaust with MBRP mufflers. Out back is a Ford 9" with 3.73 gearing, which provides a snappy launch from a standstill.

The trucks rolls on custom Raceline wheels with a gnarly deep, deep, deep dish on the 24"x15" wide monster rears. The suspension is comprised of a Heidts polished IFS and a rear 4-link. Originally the truck rode on air ride, and the truck was recently converted to coilovers for a better riding, simpler setup. Slowing everything down in a hurry is a monster set of Wilwood brakes boasting 6-piston calipers up front, and 4 piston calipers in the rear.

Slip into the cab and you'll find a totally one off interior packed full of modern Autometer instrumentation, a wicked loud stereo, and custom upholstery work. The door panels, kick panels, headliner and seat are all one-off designs. The bench is by Teas, and many of the hard parts are from Lokar. The tilt column is from Ididit, and the steering wheel is from Billet Specialties. The stereo system flat out rocks, and is comprised of all the best stuff from Kicker.

If you are into old pick ups, or just custom vehicles in general, this F100 has a little something for everyone, and a lot of HP to throw around.
