You are looking at a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S code 390 4 Speed. This is the car that everyone wants. This is the iconic 1967 Ford Mustang that is sky rocketing in value. This was the very first year of the 390 engine in the Mustang.

This car was equipped from the factory with the 390 GT engine which is still in the car including the original GT air cleaner and the original GT exhaust manifolds bolted to the GT 14 bolts cylinder heads.

With the 4 speed toploader transmission, you really get to enjoy the car and push those RPM’s when you want to. This car also still has its original 9” rearend that has the large drain plug that is special to the 1967 S Code Mustangs.

Overall this car is very complete. In the engine bay, everything looks to be there just as it should. A brand new big block radiator was recently installed.

The does start and the engine runs and sounds great. However, I believe the clutch is stuck or the shifter needs adjusted because the car won’t go into gear. If the buy it now price is used, I will take time off work to fix this and get the car running and driving. It does roll and steer and brake easily.

Body:

Overall the body is very solid. Rear frame rails are excellent, rear torque boxes are excellent, trunk floors are excellent. Driver side floor pan has been replaced. Passenger side floor pan still needs replaced as well as the support bar under it.

Driver frame rails is in excellent condition. Passenger frame rail isn’t rusty but it dented under the firewall and will need some work to make look like factory. The fender aprons are in overall good condition. The VIN stamp is on the Driver Apron. The passenger Aprons have had some work done to them in the past because I see some braze work.

Radiator support is nice. Fenders are nice. Doors have the small rust holes in the lower front areas. Couple tiny rust holes in the taillight panel.

Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to buy a very rare S Code 390 GT red on red car.

This car has survived. Its an original Big Block GT car that is highly optioned. These cars are getting harder to get and are skyrocketing in value. The car is a project and does still need sheet metal and bodywork.

I encourage anyone that is interested in this car to come and inspect it or check it out. I have no problem with showing the car.
