This 1940 Ford is a great driver (One of a Kind) She was restored from a near perfect body back in the 60's. Has won a lot of showtrophy's The pictures speak for this magnificent Sedan. " Lazer" straight metal, solid doors that clunk when closed. All new front end parts including steering box and Panhard stabilizing track bar and tube shocks. All the chrome is nice. The paint is barn find quality & has a nice used patina. Very good quality black leatherette upholstery and fitted with new radial white walls, fog lamp, hubcaps, and bumper over-rides. Thehydraulic brakes have all been freshly done It has a real nice set of workinggauges to compliment the upgraded 12 volt system.
The Car is just as clean underneath as it is on top. The 49 Merc stock engine gives it a muchupgradedreliability The easy accessdistributor get's you away from those old points down in front of engine. Thedrive train starts, shifts and runs better than it didin 1940. Like new dual exhaust pipes.
