This Touring T has been moved from one garage to another for possibly the last thirty years or longer. My wife and I are seventy and her dad used to drive us around in this car when we were kids. I believe it has been in our family since the early '60's. I have found tag receipts from the 40's and 50's registered in Plainfield Indiana. To the best of my knowledge it has always been garaged and never in the weather since the family has owned it.
I have found no rust through or wood rot in the car. I believe it has the original paint but not sure about the upholstery. Paint and upholstery are in very good condition considering the age. It's currently covered with dust from our garage from the last 17 years but I have included a picture of the day we brought it home. It is not beat up or dented but has a few dimples and scratches. The center panel of the top is gone. The windshield and one headlight lens has been shot several times with a bb gun by my wife's younger brother when he was a kid. I apologize for that travesty.
When I brought it home I poured Marvel Mystery Oil in all the cylinders. The mileage is not known. The fan belt is broken so I don't know if the motor is free or not. I never learned to drive or work on a Model T so I really don't have any information regarding the condition of the motor or other mechanics. A couple of the tires will hold air for a while, two others will not. My driveway and garage are on a slight incline and would be relatively easy to load the T on a car trailer. I can help with loading but delivery is the responsibility of the successful bidder.
It's often said "They're only original once." and this could be the one you are looking for, un-butchered and mostly complete. Please ask all questions prior to bidding.
Please understand Georgia does not require a title for old vehicles. You will be given a BILL OF SALE. If you feel this is not sufficient for your state, please do not bid.
