1977 Ford Bronco Ranger Description

Features / Upgrades

Tires / Wheels - New Dick Cepek / Mickey Thompson 31.5x70R17 Extreme Country tires, Dick Cepek 17x9 "Black Out" wheels with caps and anti-theft lugs

Suspension - Tom's Bronco Parts 3.5" Lift, Front Hoop Shock mounts, all new HD shocks, front coils, rear shackle leaf springs, powder coated step/nerf bars

Steering / Brakes - Power steering, new high pressure hoses, new brake hoses installed with lift kit, Radius Arm drop kit, aligned after build and castor is over 5 degrees! (Does NOT wander, drives straight and safe). '77 was only year of early Broncos with stock front disc brakes and 4-to-1 steering ratio, new steering shaft. I'm big on handling...

Dash / Electrical - LED tail lights, Overhead Electric wipers (to accommodate roll cage) with delay, new LED dash cluster and components, speedo cable, new dual horns, after market steering wheel, new heater cables.

Engine / Drive Line - 4K miles on Fresh NAPA 302 (Dec 2014), runs strong on regular gas, Holley 4 bbl, high flow air cleaner, new spark plug wires, new custom HD rear drive line and U-joints (to accommodate lift), strong smooth C4 auto transmission, 9" rear end, Dana 44 Locking Front hubs

Exterior / Trim - Original "Ranger" paint and trim, original spare tire rack (no spare mounted on it), "Bimini" full size soft top, installs or can be removed in minutes. Also has original hardtop. New door hinges, new replacement rocker panel and new "FORD" grille emblem.

Interior - Four shoulder harness belts, powder coated full roll cage, new carpet, sound deadening, heat insulation, very nice stock front and rear seats, locking console between front seats, fire extinguisher in padded holster.

Fuel System - Selectable main and auxiliary tanks, '77 was the only year with closing filler spout flaps.

Exhaust - 3 inch single exhaust system, Flow Master muffler (awesome tone!)

Cooling - Recent heater core replacement, upgraded Tom's Bronco radiator, recent belts and hoses.

Audio - Great sounding Alpine 4 channel sound system compatible with ipods, smart phones, etc...

Equipped with Dick Cepek / Mickey Thompson, Tom's Bronco Parts, and James Duff top of the line components with a new NAPA strong running 302. Everything has been done right without being overly modified. "Almost over the top" but still fit to drive on any highway as well as do all the off-road stuff these original Broncos can do with style. Hardtop in good condition with stand, CD shop manual and "Bronco" fender protector included. VERY minimal rust, especially for a 40 year old classic four wheeler! You can expect to turn heads, get a lot of "thumbs up”, smiles, waves, honks, etc... pretty much every time you take "Groot" out. You'll never get tired of it. This is an honest example of the final and finest baby Bronco produced. (Yes, that's a Heron that wandered up behindhim in the final picture. Somebody's always checking him out...)
