1935 Ford Tudor Sedan Excellent Condtion
1935 Ford Tudor Sedan Description
For your consideration, a 1935 Ford Tudor, two-door, humpback sedan. This car has a clean and clear North Carolina title that is titled in my name.
The Navy blue paint scheme, red wheels, and whitewall tires makes this a fine example of a pre-war Ford. The tan interior is plush and surprisingly comfortable and roomy for the model year. The Flat Head V8 engine starts easily with a push of the floor button and the clutch and gears all shift properly.
I purchased this car from an older gentleman who had it restored to its original factory condition, (frame-off, paint, chrome re-plating) but he fell into ill health and was unable to enjoy the car and there are a few things that need to be finished such as installing the radio, and hooking up the speaker and dome light wiring. The car has been sitting for the past four years when I purchased it. The car has accumulated only 170 miles since its restoration I was told that the Ford flat-head V8 was professionally rebuilt during this time. The car is solid, no rust. The paint is nice and glossy, it does however have a chip the size of a pencil eraser on the passenger side, (SEE PICS) and there are a few extremely small scratches that are so small, the camera would not focus in on them. New whitewall tires were also installed during the restoration and are in excellent condition with no tread wear whatsoever. I drove the car home when I purchased it, approximately 15 miles, and other than having an old gas smell from sitting for a few years, the car needs nothing but someone to drive it and appreciate it. Two of the side glasses have a hairline crack, nothing that affects the function or operation of the windows. I also have many new parts and many older parts that will go with the car. The only reason I have decided to sell this car is that I am in the process of building a house and I am downsizing my collector car collection. The car is located in Mount Airy, North Carolina. If you would like to see the car in person, please contact me to arrange a time and I will be happy to show the car to you. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, but please note that I am not a pre-war Ford expert, but I will do my absolute best to give you what information I can. If you require additional pictures, please let me know. The pictures that I have posted were taken in September of this year before I put the car away for the winter. Some of the pics that show the car in the garage are recent and show the car a little dusty.
