Up for sale is my 1931 Ford Model A Roadster. Need to clear things out for other projects and I am sacrificing this one. It is not as practical for me as I hoped.
I just completed a full ground up restoration of the vehicle. It as taken down to just about every last nut and bolt and put back together. It has about 80 miles on it since it was finished. The fenders may look black but they are a dark navy blue. The interior is a buckskin. The seats, to include the rumble seat, are leather. The door panels are vinyl. The top is a canvass type of material and it does include the side windows are show in the pictures. The wheels have been powder coated, so they will last a long time.
Other than the below, the vehicle is pretty much stock/standard for a 1931 Model A.
The engine was totally rebuilt. It has a Weber 2 barrel 32/36 DGEV carburetor. Original compression was 4:2:1. I put a higher compression head with a 6:0:1 compression ratio. It has new rods, balanced crankshaft, new pistons, new high performance camshaft, rings, valves, hardened valve seats, and a lightened and balanced flywheel. It also has an electric fuel pump.
The transmission and rear-end were rebuilt. Basically everything was rebuilt on the vehicle
I added turn signals.
Rather than the wooden floor boards, I replaced them with a two-piece steel floor, that is easily removable to get to the battery.
It starts right and runs great. With the rebuilt engine with its few enhancements, it will cruise right along at 50 mph without any issues. It is a fun car to drive. It will definitely turn heads when you are out and about. It will definitely do well at car shows.
Car is advertised locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction if it sells locally.
A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction.
Colorado title is free and clear.
