Fast440 is pleased to offer this very well sorted out 1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback in GT350 Trim. This Texas Solid example is strong in eye appeal as well as mechanically. High Quality Clear-Coat Paint work on this 15 year-old build (minor flaws due to use and age), and all the bright work is in great shape. Glass Panels were replaced as needed, and all soft products such as door and Window seals have been installed. The Offset American Racing Torque Thrust II 15" Tire and Wheel Package gives the car an aggressive stance, and the Eleanor style Front Valance and Hood Scoop, Rallye stripes only add to this great looking Pony Car.
The Vehicle Interior has been completely restored with the addition of a Pony Interior Upholstery Kit, Door Panels etc. Seat Foam has been replaced for comfort. Headliner along with the Dash Pad have been addressed along with various Interior bright work trim items. Looks fantastic inside. All electricals function as they should, and thanks to a Wiring Harness Front to Back along with a Modern Car Fuse Block. The only real noticeable flaw inside the car is that the Headliner needs to be re-stretched on the Driver Side towards the back.
A look underneath the Hood will show neat and clean. The mild Performance Built 302 V-8 is dressed up with a Chrome Kit, and take note of the expensive Billet Aluminum Hood Hinges. Not only do they look good, the Hood will close precisely without any play and proper alignment. The Motor has a mild performance Camshaft in it, and with the addition of the Performance Exhaust, the sound of the car is quiet yet throaty. You can tell by the sound of it that it is all Street Machine indeed. Performance Bolt-Ons include a Holley Double Pumper Carburetor, Performance Intake Manifold, Ceramic Coated Headers, Electronic Ignition and more. The C-4 Automatic Transmission has been rebuilt and shifts with authority, and the Stock Rear Differential with Highway Gears is perfect for a long distance cruise or breaking the law on the Interstate. Power Front-Disc Brakes were added, Suspension has been rebuilt front to back including Bushings, Control Arms, Leaf Springs, Shock absorbers etc.
This Mustang Fastback is currently owned by a very conscientious Classic Car enthusiast, maintained to drive and enjoy at a moment's notice, and stored properly indoors. Great driving impressions and .....
