[isdntekvideo] This is a very cool 1927 Ford Roadster on an A model chassis. It start, runs, and drives like you would expect. The pictures pretty much speak for themselves, but heres a list of whats been done and what the car has.
1927 Ford roadster body on a 1929 model A frame
1948 Ford 59 AB flathead professionally rebuilt by Roberts & Sons in Chattanooga Tn- everything in the motor is new and built to stock specs with the exception of the NOS Ford race cam and adjustable lifters
Spark is provided by a Mallory distributor
An Edelbrock 94 carb supplies the fuel
An aluminum Model T to Flathead radiator with Spawl high output electric fan keeps it cool
Transmission is a 1939 Ford standard 3 speed
Banjo style rear end with a Model A spring
Split bones front and rear
Big Ford Juice brakes at all 4 corners with new master cylinder, wheel cylinders and pads
1939 drilled Ford front axle
1948 Ford F100 steering box
New Hot Rod Co. fuel tank
1939 Ford tail lights
1928-1929 Ford Grill shell
4 New Firestone 4.50 x 21 tires on Model A 21" wire wheels.
Car was built several years ago and enjoyed very little. It has a great look, runs great, and really shouldnt need anything but a new owner. Call Jason at 615-476-5547 between 9am and 9pm CST for any and all questions. No emails please.
That being said it does have blemishes and flaws that can be seen in the pictures. Nothing major, but there are some there. The car is being sold as is, where is with no warranty expressed or implied. It runs good but is almost 90 years old, so please be aware that antique vehicles require more maintenance and time than a newer vehicle .It does have a clear Tn title in the owners name. A local inspection is recommended and welcomed prior to bidding . Please look at the pictures closely and ask any and all questions before bidding. $500 deposit is due within 12 hours of auctions end via Paypal. Full payment is due within 5 days via bank wire, cashiers check, or cash in person. If cashiers check is used all funds must clear the bank prior to title or car being released. The car must be picked up within 3 weeks of the auctions end. Please have an idea of who you will use for shipping and the costs involved prior to bidding. Foreign bidders please contact me before bidding. Thanks and good luck bidding.
