1929 Ford Model A Tudor Paint / Body: The body was refinished with the correct 1929 paint colors. The upper and lower body is "Rose Beige" and the belt line is "Seal Brown". We believe the paint is lacquer and it is holding up very well. It also has the correct hand painted orange accent stripe. The five wheels are powder coated with the same orange color. The steel body and wooden pieces are all in great shape with no signs of rust, rust repairs or rotten wood. There may be some small chips or nicks here and there that can be easily touched up. (Owner has two small cans of extra paint. Not sure if they are still good.) There are no dents or dings. The paint has the correct amount of gloss and looks like it did in 1929. The doors, hood and other panels all fit very well with the correct gaps and lines. The vinyl roof section is in great condition with no rips or other problems.
Chrome / Trim: All of the chrome has been re-plated or replaced during its restoration. The front and rear bumpers along with the radiator shell, headlight buckets and fog lights(turn signals) housings are all in very nice condition. It is equipped with two rear parking/brake lights. The rest of the trim pieces are also very nice. The car has a two side view mirrors.(Left and right)
Interior: The entire interior was redone during the restoration and is correct for this model/year car. The correct "Brown Check Wool Broadcloth" material is holding up very well with on rips or holes. The carpet is still pretty good. It could use a little cleaning in spots to make it look a little better. It has a rear window pull down shade and its working. The interior window sills and dash area has the painted wood grain effect with an orange pinstripe that ties in the exterior paint scheme. All of the gauges are working along with the other electrical items such as the, Sparton "Ahooga" horn, both headlights (low beam/high beam), brake lights and wiper. For added safety, turn signals were added. The turn signal bulbs are located in the front fog light housings and rear tail light(s). All of the chrome and nickel plated interior hardware is in great condition. Seatbelts were added in the rear seating area. (Grand kids.)
Engine Compartment: The engine compartment is correctly detailed with a restored (rebuilt) 4-cylinder stock engine with the correct Zenith carburetor. The VIN number is stamped into the side of the engine block. Mounted to the power plant is the stock 3-speed manual transmission. The power train is all working like it should with the only problem being the typical drops of oil here and there. (They all leak.) The old generator was swapped out with a more efficient 6 volt alternator to help run the brighter headlights and other items. The 6 volt battery is also working great. (Kept on a battery tender during the winter months.) There is nothing on this car that does NOT work. No mechanical issues. The belt, hoses, clamps, spark plugs, points and coil have always been well maintained and are all are in great shape with no problems. The fuel is feed through a sediment bowl/filter.
Trunk Area: A deluxe luggage rack with real wood/steel slats is installed on the rear of the vehicle. (Flips up with no trunk installed.) There is a steel trunk mounted on that luggage rack. (Owner was told it looks like it could be original and not a reproduction type of trunk. Not sure) It is in very nice shape. There is an additional rear tail light installed making the car more visible. The spare tire is mounted on the rear of the vehicle
Glass: All of the windows are in nice shape including the flip out windshield.(Air conditioning) There are no cracks, scratches, or chips. The only thing I see is some small bubbling around the edges of some of the pieces of glass.(In between the panes of glass.) Not really noticeable unless looking for it. The vehicle is also equipped with two side windwings with etched glass.(Floral pattern) All of the windows roll up and down normally without any problems or issues.
Wheels and Tires: The 21" wheels are powder coated orange to match the accent pinstripe. They are straight and true. The wheels are nice without any paint chips. The wheels have the correct nickel plated dust cover valve stems along with the correct lug nuts. The "Ford" center caps are great with no dings or dents. Mounted on these stock wheels are 5 Gun Dipped Firestone white wall tires. Size: 4.40/4.50-21
Undercarriage: The frame is solid, straight, and without any rust. It is painted chassis black. There are no signs of welds, repairs, cracks, or undercoating hiding any problem areas. All of the wooden floor panel pieces were replaced during the restoration and are still in nice shape. The underside is still pretty clean despite being driven to numerous club events. The exhaust system seems solid with no holes or weak areas. The factory mechanical braking system is working fine but would suggest doing a quick adjustment to achieve optimal performance.
(Nine times out of ten, people selling a car would not talk about or take any photos of the underside. The undercarriage tells you a lot about the car, that is why I took a few pictures of the bottom.)

It still looks great and with a little detailing it would do very well at the local auto shows. Being it was professionally restored, everything was done correctly and with a higher standards. I think a lot of these Model A vehicles are being quote "Restored" by the older gentleman in thier backyard. That being said, I would say this vehicle is better then most of those cars. No, its not a fresh out of the box restoration, but it was done correctly with a the right nuts and bolts. Don't settle for a vehicle that was pieced together. The vehicle is located in Broadview Hts., Ohio. (44147 Zip Code)
Broadview Hts. is located near the Cleveland, Ohio area. (Just minutes way from Hopkins Airport, "CLE".)
