You are viewing a privately owned 1929 Ford Model A Tudor!
Classic Cars Online is helping the private owner with the presentation and listing of this vehicle.
You will be purchasing this vehicle directly from them. This beautiful vehicle has been with this same family since 1965. That is 53 years with the same family.
It was restored many years ago, but it still looks like it was just finished a few years ago. Everything is holding up great which is a good indicator on the quality of the restoration.
No details were over looked and the workmanship is top shelf.
The vehicle hasn't been driven a lot over the last few years. Keep in mind when viewing the 82 photos, the car was just removed from the garage
and hasn't been cleaned or detailed. With a few hours of detail work and wiping off the dust and spider webs from the undercarriage,
this car would look even better. If you are shopping for a Model A to add to your collection or just to enjoy, don't settle for an inferior vehicle.
There is no substitute for quality. This vehicle is one of the better ones.
We will try to describe and go over most of the car, please read and view all of the 82 pictures listed below.
Would you buy a car on ebay with four pictures and one paragraph of description? NO.
That is why at Classic Cars Online, our listings will go over and show every area of the vehicle that is up for auction.
Bid with confidence!

1929 Ford Model A Tudor Paint / Body: The body was refinished with the correct 1929 paint colors. The upper and lower body is "Rose Beige" and the belt line is "Seal Brown". We believe the paint is lacquer and it is holding up very well with no scratches, cracking, hazing, or chipping. It also has the correct hand painted orange accent stripe. The five wheels are painted black that match the fenders and running boards. The steel body and wooden pieces are all in great shape with no signs of rust, rust repairs or rotten wood. It would be very hard to find a small chip or nick on this classic. There are no dents or dings on the body or fenders. The paint has a nice shine and would look amazing with a coat of wax. The doors, hood and other panels all fit very well with the correct gaps and lines. The black vinyl roof section is in great condition with no rips, shrinking, or other problems. Just looking at the trim around the vinyl top, you can see the level of workmanship that went into this car. (See close up photos #34, #35) The spare tire is mounted on the rear of the vehicle. The rubber on the running boards are very nice with little to no wear.
Chrome / Trim: All of the chrome and nickel plated items have been re-plated or replaced during its restoration. The front and rear bumpers along with the radiator shell, headlight buckets and cowl lights housings are all in very nice condition. For safety reasons, it is equipped with two rear parking/brake lights. The rest of the trim pieces are also very nice.
Interior: The entire interior was redone during the restoration and is correct for this model/year car. The correct "Brown Check Wool Broadcloth" material is holding up very very well with on rips, holes, or any sign of wear. There is a black rubber floor mat installed that is in good condition. It has a rear window pull down shade and its working. All of the gauges are working along with the other electrical items such as the, Sparton "Ahooga" horn, both headlights (low beam/high beam), brake lights and wiper. For added safety, turn signals were added. (Not sure if the turn signals are working.) All of the chrome and nickel plated interior hardware items are in good condition. Some of the items could use a quick polishing to bring the correct luster back. (Example: The nickel plated steering wheel center/horn button.) The steering wheel isn't cracked, but does look a little dull.
Engine Compartment: The engine compartment is correctly detailed with what looks to be the original 4-cylinder engine. The stamped engine serial number is: A1549763 (Produced May 1929) (See Photo #70) This is the same serial number that is listed on the title. The fuel is feed through a sediment bowl/filter into the correct Zenith carburetor. An air filter housing was added to the carburetor. A new 6 volt battery was just installed. The factory 6 Volt generator is keeping everything charged which can be verified by the original ampmeter in the instrument cluster. There are no known problems or mechanical issues with the car. The car starts and runs great. (I personally have ridden in this vehicle during a test drive.) The belt, hoses, clamps, spark plugs, points, distributor cap and coil all look well maintained and are all are in great shape with no problems. Mounted to the power plant is the stock 3-speed manual transmission. The power train is all working like it should. I could tell you that it has the typical drops of oil here and there, but surprisingly this car really doesn't have a lot of that happening.
Glass: All of the glass windows are in nice shape including the flip out windshield.(Air conditioning) There are no cracks, scratches, or chips. All of the windows roll up and down normally without any problems or issues.
Wheels and Tires: The 21" wheels are black and match the fenders along with the running boards. They are straight and true. The wheels are nice without any paint chips. The wheels have the correct dust cover valve stems along with the correct lug nuts. The "Ford" center caps are great with no dings or dents. Mounted on these stock wheels are 5 Lincoln Highway white wall tires that are in nice shape. Size: 4.40/4.50-21
Undercarriage: The underside is still pretty clean despite not being wiped off or cleaned in years. It wouldn't take long to bring this undercarriage back to show quality. Even thought it is dusty and dirty, you can still see how nice the finishes are on the items. The frame is solid, straight, and without any rust or the typical weak areas. It is painted chassis black. There are no signs of welds, repairs, cracks, or undercoating hiding any problem areas. All of the wooden floor panel pieces were replaced during the restoration and are still in nice shape. The exhaust system seems solid with no holes or weak areas. The factory mechanical braking system is working fine but would suggest doing a quick adjustment to achieve optimal performance.
(Nine times out of ten, people selling a car would not talk about or take any photos of the underside. The undercarriage tells you a lot about the car, that is why I took a few pictures of the bottom.)

It still looks great and with a little detailing it would do very well at any auto show or event. Being it was correctly restored, everything was done to a high standard and done properly just like it was assembled at the Ford factory. I think a lot of these Model A vehicles are being quote "Restored" by older gentleman in their backyard. That being said, I would say this vehicle is better then most of those cars. No, its not a fresh out of the box restoration, but it was done correctly with a the right nuts and bolts. Don't settle for a vehicle that was pieced together. Its not that often you can find a vehicle that has been in the same family for over 53 years. (More then half its life.)
The vehicle and owner are located in Garrettsville, Ohio. (44231 Zip Code)
Garrettsville is located between Cleveland and Youngstown Ohio.

The odometer is working and showing 65,440 miles. (Not sure if these are the actual original miles.)
The vehicle has a free and clear title that is ready to signed over.
