1979 Ford Crown Victoria WOODGRAIN Description

Last fall I bought this 1979 Ford Country Squire to use as a summer island car. I had it shipped to a garage near my home in Massachusetts.

I live in Italy most of the year and I haven't even seen the car in person yet

and my situation has changed and no longer need the car.

I decided to put it back on eBay.

I think I bought it well and am only hoping to get out of it what I have in

it and see it go to another enthusiast.

Below I have posted theoriginal description by the seller

and the original photos from the ad.

The car will need to be picked up in Falmouth, Mass.

If someone buys it I can send copies of all the cars documents and a bill of sale but the originals are at my home in Mass. and I won't be there until May 31 when I can ExpressMail them to you at my expense.

This is the original eBay ad copy from the seller that I bought it from:

1979 FORD LTD COUNTRY SQUIRE WOODY

STATION WAGON

TODAY WE ARE PROUD TO OFFER, FOR YOURCONSIDERATION, THIS 1979 FORD LTD

COUNTRY SQUIRE STATION WAGON.

WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT AN AUTOMOBILETHAT CAN ACTUALLY SPEAK FOR ITSELF?

LET'S "HARKEN BACK" TO A TIME WHEN THE WORLD WAS NOT SO COMPLETED.

YOU HAD THE JOB OF MOVING YOUR FAMILY TO EVERY EVENT UNDER THE SUN!

ALSO, THE WAGON MOVED YOUR KIDS AND THEIR BUDDIES TO THE GAME, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME MOVING ALL OF THE RELATED GEAR. THEN IT WOULD GO TO THE LUMBER YARD. PLEASE DON'T ASK, "WHAT IS ALUMBER YARD?"!

I KNOW, YOU GET IT! NOW, THE CAR'S FAX:

THIS COUNTRY SQUIRE HAS BEEN IN STORAGEFOR APPROXIMATELY FOUR YEARS. BEFOREITS INCARCERATION, THE PREVIOUS OWNERSPENT ALL OF HIS FREE TIME RESTORINGTHIS WAGON. HE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER SERVED IF HE HAD TAKEN UP SOMETHINGLESS DESTRUCTIVE - PERHAPSSTAMP COLLECTING?TOOCRITICAL? WELL OK, IT LOOKS GREAT TO THE UNTRAINED EYE.

IN MY PROFESSIONAL OPINION, THE CAR CAR NEEDS A COMPLETE RESTORATION. LET ME EXPLAIN: THE POOR QUALITY, BLACK RESPRAY/BRUSH TOUCH

PAINT IS SHINY AND IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR A DRIVER; THE SAME GOES FOR THE INTERIOR.THE DRIVERS SEAT IS PATCHED AND DYED.

ALSO, IT SHOULD HAVE A NEW HEADLINER.

I HAVE TO ADMIT, HE DID A VERY NICE JOB RENEWING THE WOOD LOOK INSERTS.

THE CAR DOES START, RUN, DRIVE, SHIFT AND STOP. OK, THAT'S A BIG PLUS!

IT ALSO HAS A NEW WATER PUMP - THAT'S A GOOD THING!

IT DOES NEED A PIECE OF TAIL PIPE, HOWEVER; IT IS NOT LOUD BUT THE FUMES NEED TO BE ELIMINATED.

IT ALSO HAS VERY LOW MILES; SINCE THE CAR IS MORE THAN TEN YEARS OLD, PA TITLES FOR OLDER CARS SHOW AS "MILEAGE EXEMPT."

THIS WOODY DOES MAKE A GOOD DRIVER, THOUGHI WOULD STILL LIKE TO SEE IT RESTORED.

WE ALWAYS SUGGEST THAT THE BUYER HAVE THE PURCHASED VEHICLE SERVICED AND INSPECTED BEFORE IT IS PUT INTO DAILY SERVICE. THAT SAID, OUR VEHICLES ARE SAFETY CHECKED BEFORE THEY ARE SOLD - BUYERS' SAFETY IS ALWAYS OUR FIRST PRIORITY.

AS WITH ANY USED AUTOMOBILE OF THIS AGE AND MILEAGE, YOU MAY OR MAY NOT SEE SMALL DENTS, SCRATCHES, PAINT MIS-MATCH OR FLAWS IN THE PAINT, AND MAYBE MINOR RUST. SMALL, MECHANICAL ITEMS MAY NEED REPAIR. THE INTERIOR LEATHER, OR CLOTH, OR CARPETS MAY HAVE STAINING OR WEAR - ALL OF WHICH IS CONSIDERED NORMAL WITH OLDER VEHICLES.

Well that's it.

Good bidding!

The successful buyer needs to pay $500.00 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours and the balance in full within a week before pick-up. Thanks Bruce
