This is a 1992 Ford Escort Cosworth that is freshly restored and modified. I restored this car for myself and the car has less than400 miles on it since the restoration.In 2015, I few Tommy Field the Ford tuner (Field Motorsport in the UK), twice to Vancouver Canada for a total of two weeks to finish and tune my Cosworth car.When I decided to restore this Escort Cosworth, I wanted a car that looked stock, but at the same time I wanted a car that performed, handled and braked like a modern high end sports car.


I tried to list everything that was done to the car, but I am sure I left some things out.With all wheel drive, modern suspension and brakes, this car handles incredibly.If you research the general overall view of this car, most experts expect that this car will only increase in value over time. It holds a very special places in rally history and has a cult following all over the world. Ken Block just bought one as you can see on YouTube.

Almost everything was replaced on this car.Tommy can attest that this car is very fast as he drove it.The only thing that was not done to the car was to strip the body down to bare metal because we thought the body was in great shape.The paint overall is verygood and someparts ofthe car were repainted.


The interior headliner is also original. The freshly built, balanced and blueprinted engine has two settings, low and high boost.The engine puts out about 380 to400 HP, but with the shorter gearing, the car feels like it has 450 HP.The engine is capable of well over 500 hp with a larger turboand a remap.


Most of the parts were bought from Graham Good Racing in the UK. You can contact Darren Dare at Graham Good racing to confirm this. He can confirm that I bought enough part from him to build a new car.

Here are the things that need to repairs on the car:

1)The tachometer does not work.

The list:

-New EBC brake rotors with EBC pads.

-New Mallard Green Paint (a few thin scratches on back of the car and a small chip on the rear fender)

-Reconditioned Lux leather interior

-New group A style diff mount from Graham Good Racing

-Brand new gas coil over shocks.

-Repainted and sandblasted cross member

-New 444 CWP gears and matching 444 transfer case gears as well

-New fully rebuilt diffs with new bearings and seals.

-New Gaz suspension all around

-New water temperature sensor.

-New battery


Undercharge has been stripped and sprayed with gravel guard.


-New high flow Air filter

-New short throw sifter

-New battery.

-New OZ racing rims

-New tires.

-New air filter and hose.

-New carbon fiber splitter

-New water pump.

-New emergency brake cable.

-New ABS sensors.

-New heater core.

-New radiator

-New boost hoses

-RS500 intercooler

-New 3 inch exhaust.

-New water hoses and clamps.

-New oil pump

-Transmission was rebuilt by Norris Motorsports in the UK.

-New fuel pump and sending unit.

-New idle valve control.

-New throttle position sensor PFO9

-New air temp sensor.

-New water temperature sensor

-Norris Motorsport strut brace

-New AP clutch and clutch cables

-New carbon fiber front spoiler (small scratch on it)

Engine:

-Fresh Engine tuned and broken in by Tommy Field. The engine has less than 100 miles on it.


Engine puts out about 380 HP to 400 HP. Engine was boiled, honed, Magnafluxed, balanced and blueprinted.

-B14 and B15 cams

-Brand new Sierra Sapphire small turbo with 48 mm housing

-Management system is Pectal PA Mountune. Tuned by Tommy Field

-8 1/2 compression,

-New Ross Racing pistons with valve cuts

-New ARP rod bolts and

-Polished rods.

-New gray injectors

-New Bearings

-New ARP head studs.

-3 angle cut valve job

-New double valve springs

-Polished crank

-Norris Motorsports (UK) stage 1 ported head

-New timesert in the cam bolts and timing belt sensor is timeserted

-New crank sensor.

-New gray injectors

-New 3 bar map sensor.

-New timing belt

-New timing belt gears

-New oil pump

-Reconditioned and fleshly painted Cosworth valve cover

-Most hoses were replaced
