The first-generation Ford F-Series is a series of pickup trucks and commercial vehicles produced by Ford. Introduced in late 1947, the F-Series was the first post-war truck design from Ford. Noticable changes were wider cabs, single piece windshields, and integrated headlamps. The first generation of the F-Series would remain in production until 1952. The F-1 was the entry level truck with a GVWR of 4,700lbs. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this highly restored 1949 Ford F-1 for your... consideration. This truck has been "frame off" restored and remains in excellent condition. It is powered by its flathead 6 cylinder paired with a 3 speed manual transmission. Highlights include original heater box inside the cab, radio, oak wood bed, beautiful chrome, like new BFG tires on 16 inch factory steel wheels with appropriate hubcaps, spare tire, 12 volt system, owner's manual and more. This vehicle starts up smoothly, shifts through its gears well and has a strong idle giving its next owner all the drivability you could ask for. Other great features to this truck include its very original looking interior, dash and bench seating inside the cabin. This is a great truck and is ready for its next owner.
