1930 Ford Model A Description

Thank you for visiting! Here we have a very clean and well taken care of example of a 1930 Model A Tudor Coupe. Very original and period correct car with LOTS of time, energy and expense involved in making it the car that it is today. Basically a front to back frame on restored car. Have lots of documentation. All Steel! Not a fiberglass car in any way. Very solid. As you can see in the photos, this car was always stored inside. Previous owner from 73 on said he never even washed it. Always wiped it down when it was in the garage. This car was purchased off of a previous owner here in the state of Delaware who had cared for the car since 1973. Previous to him it was owned by another Delaware resident who had the car in his family since new. Everything about this car, as you can tell by the photos shows that it was always a cherished part of each family it drove around town, in parades, on trips and about the Eastern Shore. Always flat bed delivered for its service to Pennsylvania to Schwalms in Strasburg.

This car is very solid. The wood floor is in great shape. As you can see by the photos, the undercarriage is immaculate. Think about it, this is an 88 year old car we are looking at here! This car grabs attention! You will be hard pressed to find another example at this price that has literally been gone through front to back. The original serial number was verified by the stamp on the frame from the factory in 1930. The block was a new replacement block and was not original to the car. The only other non original piece of this car to my knowledge is the dash. The miles are far less than stated in the listing. Since the rebuild, this car has seen maybe 1,300-1,400 miles! Turns right over. Always kept on a battery tender. Original 6 volt system. The only surface rust to be seen is on the underside of the running board which is steel as well. The paint shows well as seen in photos but as it was back in the 30's even from the factory there are imperfections. Some low spots, scuffs and scratches. Again, not pebble beach quality paint but very presentable.
All lights and gauges work as they should. Frame is rock solid. This was a Model A Club of America car that was even shipped down south a few years in a row to participate in all Model A club activities and shows. Some have used it as a reference while rebuilding their own. Again, for a car that's every bit of 88 years old. At the price listed, it would take you far more to find one in a barn somewhere and bring it to what this car currently is. All glass is in great shape and all windows operate as they should. I would encourage anyone to try and find a better example at the price point.
Please forward any questions or concerns via email and I would be happy to try and assist. I am sure I am forgetting some mention able material but as you can see, there is a lot to cover on this vehicle.
PLEASE NO TRADES! I am trying to thin the herd! I do not need to sell this vehicle but would like to find it a new home that will use it more than I will. I cannot hold the vehicle for more than 2 weeks after payment. I can assist with shipping but I do not know of any locally, that will be up to the buyer. You are welcome to visit and see the car in person as well. Vehicle is being sold as is with no expressed or implied warranty. Thank you for your time!
