I have owned and enjoyed this truck for 5 years, but it is time to thin the stables. Everything I have done is documented and I have the receipts for it all. The list includes:
Rebuilt original 351m V8, rv/towing cam, straight up timing set(if you ever owned one, you know what I mean), done by Promar Precision Engines.Rebuilt original C6 automatic transmission, done by PCT.New fuel tank, pump, & steel lines.New brakes all around, master cylinder, power booster, steel lines, hoses, calibers, and wheel cylinders.New radiator & hoses.New power steering hosesNew wheels and tires 90% tread on them.Tonneau CoverNew vacuum lines and controls for heat and a/c. As well as condenser, heater core & fan motor.Radiator support and bushingsHave 78-79 style Moog tie rods but have not installed yet.Also have original style aluminium frame rear window and Steele weather seal for it.Much more to list.
Stuff done by previous owner:
Paint and body work.Por-15 frame and floorsUndercoat body4 inch lift kit, I'm not sure of manufacturerInstalled Lund sun visor and Bushwacker fender extensions.Spray on Bed Liner
Stuff that needs attention:
Parking brake needs new cable.A/C compressor does not hold a charge.Oil pressure gauge does not work. Truck is supposed to have a light not a gauge, the wiring is totally different for the two, found that out after I installed it...
This truck runs great, drives and handles better than you would think. Has a lot of power compared to a stock 351m, 4x4 is like a tank. Very reliable old truck, not showroom perfect, but shows nice and turns a lot of heads. Has a clean NJ title, I bought it in PA.
