1963 Ford Falcon Sprint Description

I am helping my friend sell off a few cars in his collection and the first is a very nice 63 ½ Falcon Sprint convertible. It’s an original V8 car that has had many modern upgrades done to it. The odometer shows around 16,000 miles. My friend assumes that's the milage that the upgrades were made to the car.

The original 260 has been replaced with a balanced and blueprinted 302 with a CompCams 268 cam, high volume oil pump, a 600 cfm Holly carburetor with an electric choke, Petronix electronic ignition and Flowtec shorty headers. It’s cooled with a Griffin all-aluminum hi-flow radiator. The transmission is a modern Ford AOD with a heavy duty trans cooler. The rear is an Eaton TruTrac posi-traction rear with 3.25:1 ring and pinion. It also has a custom dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers.

The suspension has been fully upgraded with a Heidts coil over front suspension with manual rack and pinion steering. The front brakes have been converted to disc brakes. The rear suspension has been converted to a Heidts 4 link suspension with coil over shocks and an adjustable panhard bar. The urethane bushings do squeak a bit when first driving the car, but the noise goes away with a few miles.

The car is rust free, the paint is in excellent condition as is the interior. The top is a Haartz canvas top with a tinted rear window. It has a custom hidden stereo system with Boston Acoustic speakers and an iPod connection. The instrument cluster includes a set of Dolphin gauges.

This car will cruise all day long down the highway and is fun to drive on the back roads. It has the great looks of a classic car with the drivability of a modern car. It’s great for the pleasure drive, cruise nights or as a backup to your daily driver. If you’re looking for a classic car that doesn’t drive like one, don’t let this one get away!!!!

Feel free to give my friend a call, if you have any questions. His name is Dave and his number is 267-980-7951. Please read my feedback. I have sold several cars over the years with positive feedback.
