1957 Ford Country Sedan Description

1957 Ford country sedan station wagon, a campers/travelers dream! This is a custom built "resto mod" car. Original patina body and interior on a "new" swapped drivetrain. This car has the qualities of a newer automobile with the amazing body features of the 1950's. This car runs and drives amazing, tagged, titled and a very dependable daily driven car. The drivetrain includes:
5.0L small block Chevrolet engine700r4 automatic over drive transmissionPower brakes/disc brakes frontPower steeringTilt steering columnHeat and air conditioningAluminum radiator/trans cooler/electric fanTriangular 4 link rear suspensionIndependent front suspensionReceiver hitch for towingGauges work as they should including fuel gaugeThe chassis is a swap from a 1985 GM g body car with original 70k miles at the time, car now has 82k. Very dependable, nice and quiet factory exhaust, original dash from the 85 to obtain the factory heat and air, controls, gauges and so on, 1957 ford dash included if desired. Other than the dash the interior is all factory 1957 ford. There are some imperfections on the interior as would be expected from an original 1957 car, mainly carpet around back seat area coming loose, minor rips in door panels here and there. I included pictures of door panels and carpet. The seats are original but have had new seat covers installed which fit the theme of the car well, new floor mats and hippy blanket in rear compartment as well. The body is in my opinion great shape for an original patina car. Minor dents and dings here and there but they ad character and over appeal to the theme of the car. I have included pics of the damage please review yourself.Custom roof rack and canoe included! Yes it is a working canoe. This is a blast to drive, but this is not a brand new car and not 100% restored, things needed to be finished include: Drivers window track reinstalled(included) to roll up and down:fixed shut at the moment, air conditioning needs to be charged, is intact but will need Freon. The factory dash radio does not work but a wireless Bluetooth radio is included with the car, 2 windows are cracked but are double pane and are structurally fine, have been the entire time we have owed the car. The door rubber seals are missing and need installed. There is in the spare tire mount area under the car, this has not hindered the car from being structurally sound being that that area is covered with the back panel in the rear of the car, the area is under the car around the rear bumper area, not visible from the exterior of the car. There is a minor spot of rust in the passengers fender I have included a pic in the ad. Please feel free the ask questions before bidding.
The rear seats lay down to make approximately 8ft of laying down room for sleeping! I would not be afraid to get in and drive across country at any moment! We hate to see it go but have bought a bigger camper for our growing family. This is a unique automobile and turns heads on every trip. We hope you enjoy this car as much as we have. Happy bidding!

*I attempted to update the description but ebay would not allow so here are some revisions/and or questions we have had on the car.
the word "rust" was accidently left out on the description of the spare tire mount area under the rear of the car. It is covered with a factory panel in the cargo area of the rear of the car but I wanted to disclose it. Please review the description for more info
The dash is attached to the body and the factory windshield trim was reattached to the dash for the transition.
Thank you and happy bidding !
