1956 Ford F-100 Description

1956 Ford F100 V8 Big Block Automatic

Power Steering, 4* Disc Brakes

ORIGINAL CALIFORNIA TRUCK! This is a well maintained truck. The previous owner used this as his DAILY DRIVER. Currently registered and all fees paid til Sep. 2019. You could turn it into a show truck or drive it as is.

I tried to describe everything as honest and detailed as possible and to make detailed high quality photos.

Engine

Great running Ford powered V8 Big Block Engine well maintained (See photos).

Tune up and oil change done. Fires up right away and sounds like a V8 should sound!

Transmission shifts smoothly.

Steering

Power steering and steering box come in very handy! It’s easy to steer even with smaller steering wheel. The previous owner told me that the steering box came out of a Jeep Willys.

Brakes

Disc Brakes on all 4 tires working good.

Tires

Badass look on Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires and Ford aluminium alloys.

Brand new 255/60/R15 Radial GT tires in front, even wider 275/60/R15 in back.

The wheels complemente the powerful look and sound of this truck, but they don’t take away from the originality of the truck.

Electronic

Battery is good.

My mechanic checked all lights, put in new light bulbs if needed and fixed the wires. All light are working well now.

Glass

The glass on the truck is in great shape and all original. The original glass is hard to find and expensive to replace. I believe that there is only one small crack on one of the small windows. Windshield, door windows and rear windows are all good.

Body

Great solid body.

The paint is more like a primer.

There is no rust on the body. Great California car.

Paint it and you have a 25K+ show car.

Freshly varnished wood.

Original front and rear steel bumpers.

56 front grill in chrome. Hood emblem in chrome. Sde emblems in chrome. Mirrors in chrome.

Doors lock with the same key.

It is not a perfect, but it is a wonderful truck in great shape. Many of the barns find trucks would need a lot of work just to get them anywhere near driving condition. This one is a daily driver and it would be an easy project to finish. My mechanic serviced the entire truck. I would say that you would have a $25.000 if you just paint it. This is what I would probably do next.

Why am I seeing it? I currently own another 1956 F100, a 1954 and a 1955 Ford F100. I picked this one up because I saw the potential. However, 3 F100 is enough for me and this one needs a new owner that can easily finish it up and make it his own. The 1956 F100 is the one that many people covet. I will upload a video this weekend. Serious buyers can contact me for the link to the video or any questions that you may have!
