IT ALL SEEMS TO START IN 1996 WHEN THE GULF COAST AC WAS ADDED. THIS MUST HAVE STARTED EVERYTHING. IN 1998 THE DRIVETRAIN WAS COMPLETELY GONE THROUGH WHILE ADDING THE HO 302 (BORED AND HONED, GROUND CRANK, NEW VALVE GUIDES,... MILLED HEADS, POLISHED 'COBRA'VALVE COVERS, NEW R&R PISTONS, 4 BBL CARB, 4 SPEED TOP LOADER, NEW AXLES AND REAR END, RALLY-PAC GAUGES, AND MORE. THIS WAS THE FIRST MAJOR STEP IN THE TRANSFORMATION AND WHEN THE PAINT WAS DONE AND INTERIOR WERE INITIALLY DONE. THIS ACCOMPLISHED GETTING THE LOOK AND MORE POWER. THE NEXT CHAPTER FOR THE CAR WAS A BIT MORE EXTENDED AND LASTED FROM 2005-2010. DURING THIS PERIOD IT BECAME MUCH MORE OF TRUE A SHELBY CLONE INSTEAD OF BEING A MERE TRIBUTE. ADDED DURING THIS PERIOD WERE SHELBY GT WINDOWS, HIGH TORQUE MINI STARTER, FUNCTIONAL SHELBY DASH TACH, 1' SWAY BAR, FUNCTIONAL SIDE SCOOPS WITH REAR BRAKE VENTILATION (LIKE THE REAL GT-350), TRACTION BARS, FRONT DISC BRAKES, DUAL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDERS, NEW SUSPENSION, DELUXE STEERING WHEEL, QUICK STEER KIT, SHELBY AIR CLEANER, AND ADDITIONAL SHELBY GT-350 TRIM. IN 2015 A ROLLER SPRING PERCHES SET, UCLA LOWERING JIG 3.75' SPACING, AND A XTREME ENERGY COMPETITION CAM AND LIFTER KIT WITH DOUBLE NON ROLLER WERE ADDED. THE FINAL PUSH FOR POWER AND DRIVEBILITY WAS DONE IN 2018. THIS IS WHEN A POWER BRAKE SYSTEM WAS ADDED, ALL NEW SHIFT LEVER/BOOT/KNOB, AND A NEW ALTERNATOR WERE DONE.
