1930 Ford Model A Description
1930 Ford Model A pick-up, hot rod, rat rod. This is a tagged, titled, insured, running, driving, turning, stopping, turn signal having, light working, cool attention-grabbing ride. If you don’t like people talking to you at the gas station, or people waving and pointing, this vehicle is not for you!I started building this rod 6 years ago, and has been roadworthy for the last 3 years. It can still be painted or patinaed if desired. I started with dismantling and sandblasting the cab. The cab has the top chopped 2” and the floor raised 4”. The roof skin is grafted from a late 90’s expedition, an original 1930 roof would have had a canvas roof and not steel. I liked the body feature lines from the expedition skin. The floor and transmission tunnel were also fabricated as the original floor boards were wood. I made the bed from scratch, the tailgate frame I made and used a center skin from a late 40’s F100, I really liked the “Ford/V8” scripture. Seats are bar buckets, GM tilt steering column, 12v 10 circuit mini fuse wiring setup. Chevrolet 350/285HP nothing special, sounds good and spins the tires on the light weight set up. Homemade headers with baffle inserts. TH350, column shift, ford 9’ rear. 4-wheel disc brakes, rear coil overs, frame Z—front and rear, Coker classics WW radials. There is no door glass or back cab glass, the speed O cable needs hooked up. Other than that, make it your own. You could possibly build something like this for my asking price if you can find a 1930 cab and have the tools, skills, and a few hundred hours of labor. There really isn’t anything remaining to weld, or fabricate. Simply bolt/unbolt, add, customize to your own personal taste.I’m a little over 6’, 220lbs—I fit and drive comfortably. I Know I missed a lot of details and parts, so feel free to ask questions or send me your phone number for further info. English only!No Trades, straight cash!I’m not hard up for money and wont answer stupid questions, so if I don’t reply you’ll understand
