Just in time for Fords celebration of 55 years of the Mustang, we are proud to offer this early 1965 Ford Mustang. That's right, a 1964 ½ as they are commonly called, and this one came with a 289 from the factory. With a build date of August 1964, this is one of the last early 65s built. It is a C-code 289, rated at 200 horsepower from the factory. The Deep Red Metallic is absolutely beautiful and is set... off nicely with a white rocker stripe. The rocker stripe is vinyl and removeable if it's not to your liking. Brand new redline radial tires wrap the steel wheels with correct wire wheel simulators. The trunk is very clean and has been carpeted to protect your trunk pan, and belongings. It has a full-size spare tire, just in case. Under the hood is a sight to behold as it is freshly restored with the correct Ford blue paint and factory reproduction stickers that make it look like it just left the Metuchen assembly line. The interior is in excellent condition with black vinyl bucket seats, the deluxe interior package with center console, and new seat belts. This Mustang drives out very nicely and is equipped with the Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. The factory buck tag is still in place on the inner fender, as is the original VIN stamping. This Mustang is solid and straight and ready to cruise and enjoy. Don't miss your chance to own a very cool early 1965 Mustang. This car has had the generator swapped for an alternator, but the GEN warning light was left in the dash for more proof of its build date. For additional information, please visit .
