1962 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Description

1962 Ford F100
Custom Cab 4x4

1/2 ton longbed

Arizona Desert Truck

F100s Values are on the rise, almost as much as Mustangs

Clean AZ TITLE IN HAND
VERY RARE Custom Cab early Ford 4wd and what looks to me to have
a factory High boy lift kit with blocks in the rear. Also has front locking
hubs too.
This beast has been off the road here in AZ since 1988 where it just
got put aside for other projects etc. Lots of surface rust on and around
it, but very little rot if any on the body etc.
Motor cranks and may have it running this week (check back)

Whether you want a fun daily / hunting truck or whatever

this is the Az Bronco buy, dont miss this one !

We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors

and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.

Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller

If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont

bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on

wondering if we are real or not.

FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback

on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also

shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating

for a reason,... try trusting it.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

I call it a survivor because its not been heavily modded over the yrs.
Not sure if the two-tone old patina-ed paint is original or not.
Havent decoded the vin tag in the glove box yet.
Parked back in 1988, the last owner says this truck use to be driven from
Tucson to Rocky Point Mexico many times just for fun. Odometer
shows aprox 50k on it. (not sure if its original or not)

Youll find alot of dust on our vehicles from the
AZ climate, but you wont find alot of rot.
*** Possibly just media blast
underneath it to knock-off the surface rust and yrs of crud.

Ive been all under and over this truck and cant find any rot.

Being an AZ truck the floors and rockers are in great shape of course.

SEE PICS below ! We have nothing to hide and plenty of pics
to prove how clean it is under this truck....
WHY buy an eastcoast rust bucket

IF YOU DONT HAVE TO ~!?

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND

apparently some people

who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.

So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to

make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.

Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!

DRIVETRAIN: factory 292 V8 2v w/ manual transmission and
shifter for transfer case of course too. Motor cranks with the
keys, but havent got it to fire yet by just pouring some gas down
the carb. Check back this week for some updates or email me.
Very original under the hood too. Factory Dana front and rear axles
are pretty cool. Drummanual brakes all around. All the rubber fuel
lines need replacing, not sure what else at the moment.
Working on getting it running this week.

INTERIOR:take a look at the pics. Mostly all original and showing
alot of wear n tear from the AZ heat and sun. And the interior still
has a musty smell from critters living in there for a few yrs. Mild rust
on the floors, with little to no rot. Rear window is currently not installed
in it, but does come with the vehicle. Side window glass is gone.
Its going to need some resto of course, but still a cool old truck worth
restoring. Not sure what all gauges work or not of course.
Door hinges feel a little worn when you open the doors.

EXTERIOR: the body very straight for its age, with minimal rot all around.
this is a
desert survivor. Stainless is in good shape. Paint is

fair, but the patina is beautiful. on this Az truck. The hood has some issues
when closing it due to the hinges being tight from sitting. It feels like
it wants to bend if you are not careful. Im pretty sure its fixable.

Much nicer by comparison to a truck this old from the east-coast.

The paint easily acceptable for a survivor driver, andhas now turned to typicalAz patina over the yrs.
The body looks to have all the original sheetmetal.

I wouldnt paint it personally, drive it the way it is. You can always paint it later.
Front bumper is missing. Rear has a hitch. Tailgate in really decent
shape for its age.
My guess if you wanted to, you could media blast off all the surface rust
under the truck for a cleaner look (or just leave it as is)

SUSPENSION: the suspension looks to be all factory and or
original other then the shocks. Looks to have a factory 4" lift

too judging by the old school factory looking blocks out back.
These were built to last and this 50+ yr old F100 is proof of that.

Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a

slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll

bar on the right side. check em out !

Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.

more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics to follow.

Mostly just surface rust under the car, making working on it
a breeze if the need arises.

There you go, probably The BEST represented F100s
on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
Email me for a quote for shipping.
