1977 Ford F-250 XLT Description

I don't really need to sell it and I've put a lot of work into this truck. I'm somewhat firm around the posted price.
My daily. Runs really well.
1977 F250 Ranger XLT 4x4. This is first of the non highboys which has a better steering configuration, a wider frame, more galvanized body parts.... these are more versatile trucks.
It was built in the Long Beach plant and lived there until 2013 when I brought it to VA.
I keep that big bumper on the front to protect the truck in traffic. I'll include the OEM style chrome bumper.
351M, Cleveland block casting, I pressure tested the heads and didn't see any bubbles so as far as I can tell the heads are solid, MSD/Summit ignition, RV cam, de-smoged and timing corrected, long tube headers, Edlebrock carb and intake, 4 row radiator, one wire alternator, high flow water pump, correct M specific thermostat.
Factory AC that works, new compressor, clutch, dryer, blower motor, and heater core. Slight leak in one line I know where it is so if you're going to do a repair I recommend you convert this to a sandeen compressor, the yorks are piston driven old technology they take more HP to turn and are less efficient.
Advanced Adapters Ford Ranger Torque Splitter Overdrive 27% in front of the 4 speed trans does highway speeds with ease. That's why you see three shifters in the picture. Really has 8 gears forward and two back if you choose to shift through all of them I just go overdrive on the freeway.
Brand new '17 super duty seats not the vintage bench but better because they're super comfortable with lots of storage and a cup holders. The install looks really nice. I'll include the OEM bench seat but it needs work if you want to use it.
New Fox shocks on all 4 corners makes it ride and drive really well.
Decent E rated Pro Comp A/T Sport tires.
Led lights throughout.
New rear sliding window.
Shade tree paint job a few years I got it covered up. Looks good for a driver not a show truck. Floors are solid no prior repairs. All the trim is there which is really good becausethese pieces are really expensive to replace.
Ok - the other:No front drive shaft you'll need to find one to fit or have one made.California truck up to 2013 when I brought it to VA in super good shape for the age but now it has a few rust spots showing up from age and VA humidity and rain not from salted roads you'll need to address these sooner rather than putting it off. A couple of spots in the cab, door bottoms, one in the bed. No rust in the wheel wells, cab mounts are solid.Needs valve guide seals I think, it smokes some, the engine was rebuilt with 10K on the build but that was many years ago the seals have got to be the cause.I didn't do much cosmetic inside.Gas gauge is inaccurate in both tanks.
For sale locally this ad may end early.
I have more pictures .. just send me a note.
Bidders must have an Ebay history.
I will be out of town Aug 30-Sept 8. Any other time I'm available to meet a car carrier.
