1967 Ford Mustang GT S code 4 Speed Fastback with Deluxe interior Description
This is one of the most desirable and sought after 1967 Mustang out there right now! It is the real deal S code, 4 speed, GT Fastback that was built in San Jose in Acapulco Blue with Black Deluxe Interior with the following options:
-GT Equipment Group-Interior Decor Group (deluxe interior)-Exterior Decor Group-Limited slip Differential 3.25-Deluxe Steering Wheel-Console-Tinted Glass-Deluxe Seat belts-AM Radio-Closed crankcase emission system-Exhaust Emission control-White wall tires
Well optioned 1967 Fastback Big Block cars don't come along very often. This car came from Texas. The bottom of this Mustang is in great condition with all the very important structural parts being solid and straight. I cannot find any evidence that it has ever been in any sort of accident or any of the metal ever been replaced. It is STRAIGHT!!! The body panels line up nice. These are the important parts to me when I do a restoration.
I think the odometer might even be correct but i have no proof. The door hinges are tight. This car comes with a lot of original parts for the interior that is pictured.
I believe the seat are original with the passenger and rear seat vinyl being in very good condition along with the rest of the interior plastic pieces. It has the Tach Dash as pictured. It has the consoles.
I believe this was probably a coastal car because the bottom of the car is so nice but is has rust issues on top. Like any Mustang, I would replace the floor pan. It will need a different hood but it has the turn signal parts in it. The trunk lid will need to be replaced also. The doors have the typical areas that need to be patched but the bottom edges seem to be really nice. Fenders need work or to be replaced. The engine bay needs the typical top of apron repair and battery tray area along with that section of frame rail due to battery acid damage. The rear glass is nice along with all of the stainless around it and the front window as well.
The car currently has a small block in it now with a 5 speed transmission. I do not know the history of the engine or when it last ran, but the transmission seems to shift fine.
All of the clutch linkage appears to be still there and original.I do not have the original engine or transmission but I do have a correct transmission and date code correct engine parts available to the winning bidder for a extra charge. This Mustang has great structure and a even better pedigree. I would not consider selling this, but I have another with the same color combo and also the deluxe interior is the only reason I am considering letting it go. This has got to be one of the best looking combos when restored of all Mustangs in my opinion and a lot of Mustang fans!
Please ask all questions and I will try to get answers back as soon as possible. I also encourage inspection before bidding. I will help with loading but shipping is solely up to the winning bidder.

-The VIN is one the drivers side apron and is clearly visible. The door tag is present and does not appear to have been ever changed. I have no doubts that the vin on the passenger side apron is still there, I don't know if the fenders have ever been off of the car.-The passenger side has never had the torque box installed.-The car was painted red when I got it, but was peeling and very thin. So I sprayed a primer over it to protect the bare surfaces.-The roof does not appear to have any large dents and is actually really straight.-If you want to talk about the car, please send me your phone number. I'm old school and would rather talk than try to type!
