1979 Ford F-250 4x4 Custom. Very original low mile survivor. I am the third owner. Just 116k original miles. Rebuilt big block 460 and rebuilt automatic transmission (receipts included). Power steering, power disc brakes, dual gas tanks. The original paint is in very good condition. The interior is very clean. Pride of ownership shows through out the truck.
MOTOR & TRANSMISSION-The original big block was replaced with a professionally rebuilt 460 big block with an RV cam at a cost of $5000.00 (receipts included). The 460 has a nice sounding idle. Edelbrock four barrel carburetor. The motor runs like a watch. The engine/engine bay are very clean. Thick flange headers that don't leak. The automatic transmission was rebuilt by AAMCO Transmissions (receipts included). New transmission cooler, heavy duty radiator, and marine grade battery. Rear two inch receiver hitch. This truck has been regularly maintained since new. New dual exhaust with glass packs. The motor runs perfectly and has plenty of power, the transmission shifts great, the four wheel drive works well.
INTERIOR-The interior of this truck is in very good condition and is all original . The dash board is in perfect condition and has no cracks. The door panels are in like new condition. All gauges, and electrical work perfect. Nice rear sliding window. All of the interior dash lights, lights, electrical, and fuel senders work perfectly. New Alpine CD player and speakers.
PAINT & BODY-The stunning paint on this truck is original. The body very arrow strait and free of rust (no bubbles, blisters, ect.) The doors, rockers, fenders, bed floor, frame, hood, cab corners, ect, are completely free of any rust. I recently had the original paint professionallypolished. Aluminum rims with 35 inch tires. The undercarriage is clean and dry. The only rust on the truck is a localized area on the driver side floor board. I purchased a new driver side floor pan but never installed it, however it is included with the sale. The Passenger side floor is solid with no rust. The windshield also has a crack.
The steering is tight with no excessive play. New master cylinder. The truck tracks strait and true.
The original door data plate as well as the door jamb vin sticker are still on the truck (see pictures).
Some notable extras include; Original owners manual, updated Monroe shocks, front and rear heavy duty sway bars.
With a heavy heart, I have decided to sell my Ford F-250. This is a very nice looking original paint survivor. The truck runs and drives great and is very reliable. Clean Washington title in hand.
