1953 Ford Other Description

Older restoration, still really nice and show worthy. Clean with no rust. Maintains highway speeds easily, it has an updated 332 truck engine, with newer distributor and 4 barrel Holley carb. Transmission is a 5spd main with 3 spd auxiliary. Great air over hydraulic brake system, new master cylinder and rebuilt brake booster. I am searching for a way to describe how this truck drives. It is like a much newer truck, nice and tight, and rides surprisingly well. Comfortable and lots of fun to drive a distance to a show. Does not overheat in parade or otherwise. Runs excellent. Good rubber. No CDL required to drive if licensed historical.I have pulled several different trailers with truck and it does a great job, it is very maneuverable and does not steer hard.
Truck was in movie "Taking Woodstock" which depicted the events leading up to and including the Woodstock event in 1969. Movie was made in 2009. Also featured article in Jan. 25th 2007 Old cars Weekly. I've owned this truck for 38 years, but health and age dictates sale.
Truck presently in NY, it has a good Tennessee title. Payment via cash or cashiers check. Delivery details to be determined at time of sale.
