1937 Ford Other Pickups Description

My 1937 Ford truck project regrettably is up for auction.
I have had this tucked away in storage for about 15 years.

NH is a no title state however if desired a title can be issued to a 1937 Ford truck. Bear in mind it will take about a month to be issued. It will also cost $30 for processing. I have no problem getting a NH antique title but a buyer has to be patient and willing to pay the $30 fee. I have enough money tied up in the truck.

This sits beautifully on a 1999 Ford Explorer frame that used a salvage donor for modern frame and running gear.
The 1937 1 ton cab came out of N. Carolina. Doors, rocker panels, hood and cab are all in great condition. There is one spot that has rust through. This is right above the drivers side cab mount. The rain drip edges are a little rough but definitely savable. All in all this cab is in very nice shape. I will likely never find another quite this clean.
Wheels and tires look new for being nearly 20 years old. No weather checking on rubber and no pitting or oxidation on wheels. In fact I never even dusted them, (They got a rain shine this summer). Wheels were either Explorer or Ranger. Do not think I have center caps.

A tunnel cage has been fabricated out of 1/2" square tube. (see photos)

The 4.0 OHV motor and transmission have just under 10K miles. Engine harness and ECM is intact. Factory body harnesses are included, (2).

Overall curb weight is likely 2500 pounds max I would guess. 4.0 OHV will tug this along quite well when complete.

Brake system is done.

Gas tank and lines are included but not fitted. Likewise gas pedal has not been fitted.
Brand new Griffin radiator has been roughed in and will need to be hooked up.

Tilt wheel with ignition installed. Dash gauge cluster area was hacked for the Explorer cluster. The instrumentation cluster is included and shows just under 10K.

Ford Ranger Splash fiberglass bed will need a little repair. Tailgate looks and works great. Fiberglass fenders have been roughed in but will need to be fitted and secured. They have been mocked up for photos.

Drivers side headlight bucket is not correct but I have the original without the lens.
Glove box cover, dash vent crank sheet metal, vent screen and other parts are included. Grill is in very good condition but shows some repair. One rivet on the hood latch bracket, (grill side) needs replacement. Passenger door handle is missing. Interior door cranks may be MIA. I may have other vintage ones but...perhaps not.

Seat history is unknown but fits pretty good with no rips. Will need to be fitted with a box base to set at the height you desire.

Glass is not good or missing. Glass kit and rubber seals are very inexpensive on Ebay.
Sold house and no longer have a garage to store and work on the truck.

$250 non - refundable PayPal deposit within 24 hours of auction ending. Remainder in cash or a cleared bank check before pick up.
