1931 Ford Coupe Streetrod Description

This 1931 Ford coupe has the look of an intentional old-school V8 hot rod. But as you dig deeper you'll find some extra thoughtful touches (like an overdrive transmission.) And all this distinction is being offered for quite a nice price. You instantly see this one gets the street machine look right. The chopped coupe body is channeled over the frame for a low and sleek appearance. The glossy black paint has a true hot rod spirit,... especially with the full blue pinstriping package. Also, you surely have noticed the black fades into a copper-like patina. They created this purposely so that it can coordinate with pieces like copper-colored wheel covers, headlight surrounds, and fuel tank in the pickup-style bed. Blue-dot headlights, custom taillights, and extra-large rear tires complete this very memorable and detailed package. Inside, this one goes for more of the bare-bone hot rod style. But as you get in, it starts to reveal something much more comfortable. After all, bucket seats, an armrest center console, and a tilt steering column make this a place you can enjoy. The dash is dominated by a full set of Stewart Warner gauges (including a large speedo and tach) remind you there's some fun just ahead of the windshield. The 302 cubic-inch V8 is on display for the world to see, and so they made sure it has the look to back up the car's hot rod style. That means easy to spot performance upgrades, like the Holley four-barrel carburetor, polished Edelbrock valve covers, and shorty headers feeding the growling dual exhaust. This has nice features for a street machine like a square steel chassis, the Ford 9-inch rear, and four-link rear suspension w/coilovers. But the four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive means you'll enjoy driving it more than the average hot rod. Here's a cool-looking custom '31 coupe with some nice upgrades. That makes for a terrific deal you don't want to miss. Call now!
