Available for purchase is our 1968 Ford F100 SWB custom. This truck was a complete frame off build. We started with a very solid and rust free truck. It was then torn down to a raw frame and we installed a aftermarket IFS with tubular upper and lower a arms, dropped spindles, disc brakes and rack and pinion steering. The rear brakes were also upgraded to disc as well. It is powered by a slightly built 390. Just enough to sound like a hot rod while keeping drivability intact. A fresh C6 3 speed automatic transmission with a small 2200 stall convertor was then optioned. The outside of the truck was painted with PPG factory colors of Pebble beige and Wimbledon white with matte clear. The frame was painted in a gloss black and the bottom side of the truck is coated in raptor liner for chip protection, deter heat from driveline and buffer metal resonation. Dynamat was also applied to the entire interior at this time to help with heat soak and sound dampening too. The optima battery was mounted to the frame rail to clean up the engine compartment along with moving the gas tank to the rear frame rails so no risk of fuel smell in the cab and also gives additional leg room. All components on the truck are new or refurbished. Interior, trim and glass are still in as new condition as well as the bench seats custom stitched plaid insert. Everything top to bottom has been touched during the build. A complete wiring harness was also installed during assembly with all gauges and lighting working as it should. As far as options it has AC, power steering and 4 wheel power disc brakes. The static dropped suspension rests on a set of custom billet wheels milled to replicate the stock 15" hubcaps in a staggered 19" and 20" wheel built by Mike Curtis at Curtisspeed. A set of redline tires were then installed to set it off properly. If they aren't your cup of tea I will swap them for something else you might like and possibly still allow a monetary credit. Please contact me and work that out before bidding if that does interest you. That covers the highlights I believe. Call me if you would like to discuss further. We welcome anyone to come view and drive the vehicle during the auction. We also welcome any third party inspections on your behalf. Also, if you're the type of person that needs to see, touch and smell it before purchase... we will be happy to pick you up at BNA and drop you back off so you can have the peace of mind in what you are purchasing. If any additional pictures or information is needed feel free to call Brian at 615-207-6279.
