1989 LTD Crown Victoria Station Wagon, extremely clean, one family owned!
1989 Ford Crown Victoria Description
This is an extremely clean and well preserved 1989 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Station Wagon finished in stunning Garnet Red. This wagon is all original and was owned by one family it's entire life in Wisconsin. The wagon was purchased new at Hiller Ford in Franklin, WI just west of Milwaukee and it spent its entire life driving back and forth to the upper peninsula of Michigan every summer hence the highway miles. The previous owner was a Ford service manager and had a garage full of well preserved 1970 and 1980 Fords when I purchased this vehicle. This car has every documented mile in small booklets. This truly is a time piece with every fill up and price that was paid for the gas documented with the last fill up in November and the first fill up in the spring time of every year. It has never seen snow and currently resides in a heated airplane hangar. I have all original paper work including build sheet and original cut keys and tags.
It has the extremely reliable 5.0L EFI V8 that runs perfectly with a recent tune up and recent fuel injection cleaning with all new Motorcraft parts. Other Recent work that has been accomplished to preserve this car as road worthy include:New Front Wheel bearings, rotors, calipers, and brakesNew Driveshaft and U-jointsNew Rear End with new seals and bearingsTransmission serviced and new mounts
As you can see from the pictures it is straight as an arrow and no body work is detected anywhere. It has all the bells and whistles and every power option works including the rear window and power antenna. All power windows, doors, and mirrors work flawlessly. Steering is tight and it drives straight down the road on the nice Michelin white wall tires. This 30 year wagon is stunning with it's beautiful burgundy paint and perfectly preserved duraweave vinyl seats. The rear facing seats were in original plastic when I got the car and had never been installed until I put the car together for a few car shows. It is amazing to see how well it has been preserved and taken care of. Because it is 30 years old it is not perfect even though I wish I could say it never was driven outside or parked in a parking lot it does have a few dots and dings from people not being so careful around it. The original owner was meticulous with the way he cared for and cleaned this wagon.
