1979 Ford F-150 Custom Description

This is a factory 6cyl truck with a transplanted 390 with a 4 speed (3 + Granny). It has a brand new Skyjacker 6” suspension lift, 4 brand new American Racing Outlaw II wheels and 4 brand new Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx 35”x12” tires.
She has new parts, new master cylinder, new brakes, new wheel cylinders and rebuilt front calipers. I installed at the time (been a few years now) a new 2 core aluminum radiator, this past summer I replaced the old carb with a Holley dual feed vacuum secondary 750CFM carb. It has after market DUI Ignition HEI distributor, not sure what cam is in it and it has an Edelbrock Performer 390 intake. 9” rear and Dana 60 front diff with 3:73 gears. With these 35” tires it plugs along at 70MPH turning 2300RPMs.
PLEASE READ THIS PART!!This is not a show truck, it is not a race truck, it is not a mudder!! I drive this daily to and from work, it is just a good all around driver that with a little work would be an awsome truck! I have several trucks and need to thin the herd, only reason I’m selling her!!
Now for the bad stuff. It needs an adjustable track bar and power steering input shaft seal. If the bids exceed $10K I will do the work before she leaves, it’s simple and easy work but I’ll do it so you don’t have to.It has a small rust hole on the lower cab corner, the only real rust I can find. The floor was patched by the previous owner and is holding up well.I boogered the tailgate unloading hay, oops, it still opens and closes, just looks bad and is tight. The engine, I’ve had this truck for 6 years and never tracked down or fixed an annoying but not bad oil leak. This engine runs great and I didn’t want to tear it apart, I think it is the oil pan but again, I didn’t want to mess with it.The bed floor is beat up but not rusted out.It needs the interior finished, READ THIS IT NEEDS THE INTERIOR FINISHED!! Door panels are cheap, I’m lazy! It will need new window felts, again they are cheap and I’m lazy plus I just got used to the rattles. It needs a new speedo, I’ll let ya have the GPS I use for a speedo. And finally, this is Montana and everyone has a broken windshield here, even my wifes brand new truck has one, so yes it needs a windshield! And add this to the things I will do, if the bid exceeds $10K I’ll have Safelite put new glass in it.
Listen, she is old, she is not restored, she is just a solid fun old daily driver that is loud (duals with glasspacks), handles well for a 40 year old truck with a lift kit. I love this truck and I will not give it away. Lowball offers will be ignored so don’t bother!!
Please use Ebays message system to ask questions. I will answer them in the evenings since I cannot play on my phone at work.
