1940 Ford Deluxe Description

This is a Magnificent Historical HotRod. Street Driven for the last 8 years. NO ISSUES. Bruno Duda’s 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe Autorama Class Winner 1965. Bruno purchased this Coupe from Thompson Auto Salvage in Thompson Connecticut as a no hit, no rust, bad motor in 1960 for $75. He and his son Michael began by installing a 283 with six 2 bbls backed by a BorgWarner T-10 (Still in Coupe) and a Nine inch. They showed in in various car shows up and down the East Coast for decades. In 1965 the Coupe won it’s class at the Hartford Autorama (Have Show program). Many more pictures available to serious buyers. THIS IS A CANYON CARVER.....Have 3 ring binder from 2004 rotisserie restoration. 17K since new. EVERYTHING NEW .....every bolt replaced....balanced and blueprinted 383 SCAT Stroker. Dart Heads, Comp Cam, EDELBROCK. Have ORIGINAL Naugahyde interior that was installed in 1964 (as new condition). BALANCED AND BLUE PRINTED 383 with Dart Heads, ceramic coated fender well headers, Comp Cams Hydraulic Cam and Roller Rockers, EDELBROCK 2X 4Blbs (500CFM) adult driven....CRISP, FAST....NO ISSUES. Coupe is tuned for 9,000 ft....change jets and metering rods and go ANYWHERE. Dry Bottom ....No Leaks.

2004 applied Honduras Maroon Base Coat Clear Coat PPG has a few minor FLAWS.....nothing that can’t be repaired. Coupe attracts crowds wherever it is parked. Paint appears as new except for the few flaws.

Painted 1962 Corvette Honduras Maroon in the late Sixties.

Titled and tagged as a “Street Rod” in Pennsylvania because of rotisserie body removal and restoration. Transferred into Kansas during a DMV computer change so it is listed as a 2012 Ford Coupe. Strange but can be corrected in your state. Please contact me if interested. Thanks!
