1942 Ford F-150 21C Commercial/Standard Description

NEW Condition: 1942, Ford 21C (F1) half ton pickup -- Off the frame restoration.
This is a very rare pickup as Ford stopped production in 1942 due to WW II and did not resume production until 1944.
I have owned the pickup for more than 50 years and it was a daily driver before this final restoration. It has been driven about 75 miles since its restoration.
The truck has a clear Maryland title and has Historic Maryland license plates.
I have pictures of the complete restoration process, and am willing to share them with serious bidders and the final owner.
Restoration is complete, off the frame, using 99% of the original body parts – the only new metal is in the pickup bed, and new glass: windshield and door windows.
The engine is a rebuilt 1953 Canadian Mercury, 255 cubic inch Flathead which is the largest Ford OEM Flathead V8, bored 0.040 inches, 4 inch stroke – final displacement is about 260 cubic inches. All engine parts are stock parts except adjustable valve lifters, electronic ignition, and a modern external full flow canister filter.
Electrical system was converted to 12 volts, negative ground with: Halogen 12V headlights, plus turn signals, and a pointless PerTonix Ignitor electronic 12V ignition system; and dual, electrical windshield wipers installed.
Paint colors match the original Ford colors: Green is PPG metallic Classic Green Pearl, and the trim is painted with the original Ford Tacoma Cream. The bed bottom is coated with matching green bed liner.
