1914 Model T Ford speedster Runs great and drives better
1914 Ford Model T Description
1914 Model T Ford Speedster- nice car but not a show car. Take a good, close look at the pictures- they are the best description, but we will point out the highlights.
- Paint is good-to-fair
- Upholstery is usable, but there is a split in the driver's seat
- For a speedster it has a lot of storage- under the front seats, inside the beautiful custom made toolbox, and in the metal box mounted on the passenger running board
- Car has a freshly rebuilt large drum Ruckstell rear end with new Rocky Mountain brakes
- Has an accessory Muncie transmission- one of the nicest I have seen in years. Appears to have no wear on the gears.
- New bands in the T transmission
- Engine has new bearings, new rings with Jahn's high compression pistons, adjustable lifters, new valves, a stock low head with Model A Ford stock intake and exhaust manifolds with Zenith carburetor
- Has been set up with a Model T starter and 6 volt starter solenoid
- There's a manual choke knob between the two front seats with a starter button
- Front end has been rebuilt with new spindle bolts, bushings, tie rod bolts and bushings and new pitman arm
- Runs very well and drives nicely
- 26-27 wire wheels are very straight and are black powder coated with 5 new Lucas tires, tubes and flaps
- Brass hub caps and all of the lug nuts have been brass plated
- With the Muncie transmission having a reverse gear in it, we have removed the reverse pedal and band from the T transmission, giving you lots more foot room and ease of changing bands should you need to in the future
- Car comes with a windshield and brackets- it has not been mounted (We prefer it without a windshield)
- Selling the car due to a very bad left knee- (old age SUCKS!)
- Car is currently registered and titled in California
