1914 Ford model t Description

This T has been converted to all Electric. The original motor has been removed and an electric motor put in.

It has disc brakes which had to be added as the original brakes that are origninally in a Model T are in the motor/Transmission.

The added brakes are Texas T disc brakes. Less than 500 miles on then so they are brand new and work great.

The battery pack is from a Nissan Leaf. Also comes with 110v charger. .

YOu can buy a second battery pack right here on Ebay... to double the range...

This T goes faster than it needs to......ive had it up to about 45 to 50mph and it still had some left.

This T was set up originally to race so the PO put real tall gears in it.

But it also has a Warford Model T accessory transmission so u get the best of everything.

It has an UNDERDRIVE- DIRECT DRIVE and OVERDRIVE. Climb hills in underdrive.

all Regular driving in direct drive.

And still has overdrive which ive never even needed to use ...

Turn key on ..... and move the accellerator... and your going.. thats it..... has regular foot pedal braking... easy to drive as is a regular

Auto Transmission car...

Much less complicated than a regular model t....

It has LED head lights.

motor is water cooled so it is more compact than the older large dc motors.

Come see it / drive it.. U wont find another like it. U won't be disappointed..

Titled in CA just like a regular Model T so all street legal... ready to go... last pic shows the plate etc...

I've had a couple questions about the wheels being later model A wheels.. i'll try to explain as it was explained to me... when i bought it....

What a MODEL T Speedester is.... is a MODEL T that they wanted it to go faster than a normal Model T which is approx

28 to 32 MPH normally.. to go faster they would take things off... such as metal parts... Like the Tub and other heavy accessorys... and they used

a KIT (or some would build their own) which would significantly lighten it.. and then they would keep the hood fenders or upgrade and change etx...(some had fiberglass fenders that were lighter too) this one hasoriginal fenders ..... and they would put later Model A wire wheels to replace the wood spoke wheels because it was now going to go faster. So they did this for safety on most of them.. this one especially since they were going to race it.. however they never did race it... ...

THey would also soup up the motors a bit too. this could give them 10 15mph more... .

in the case of this one it has all Model T SPEEDSTER parts.. The base as it was explained to me is its a 1914 model T .... and there are some 1926 parts.. and model A wheels... for safety..... but its reg'd as a 1914 Model T becasuse that is the frame and most the undercairage....that was started with..The wood tub was built from a kit u can buy... and then the Electric Motor of course was put in place of the motor and they also added and batterys and other components..for the conversion like the water pump .. controller etc...etc... that is what i was told and what i know about it...

Its very user freindly... you don't have to do anything to it... to keep it going... it is programmable if you decide you want to do that... but its all set and will stay that way unless someone actually changes it... i'm told it was set up conseratively... but it's plenty fast for what it is.. and doesn't need any more in MY OPINION...

It is turn key... nothing needs to be done to it.. it runs and drives very nicely... you are welcome to send a mechanic if you want... the builder that i spoke to that put it together initially was very knowelegeable.. and knew alot.. i could tell by the way he spoke and he gave me the info above...

Of course...Sold as is where is...

And i should say.. this is all from my perspective.. you may have different standards ... likes... dislikes.. etc.. and you need to do your due diligence.. and ask questions if you need to ..... so YOU are happy with your purchase...

I was very happy with my purchase... b/c i did the same thing.. i am actually sad i have to let it go in prep for a move early next yr....

Range is about 25 miles as it is... a secondary battery pack is available online for 788 and easy to install if you want to double your range... to 50 plus miles..
