1971 Ford Torino 500 Station Wagon stationwagon
1971 Ford Torino Torino 500 Description
1971 Ford Torino 500 Station Wagon. Car is mostly original, solid and unmodified. Non-structural sheet metal rust and non-structural floor repair needed on the passenger side. Chassis structure, rails and boxes and all solid. Rear storage well is rust free. Interior is complete and in very good condition. Car has been off the road for several years. It was my daily driver until the original six puked a ring 12,000 miles into a shop rebuild. Car was parked with excessive blow-by in one cylinder and hasn't been run since. Will need to be towed. It is a solid project. Rebuild or replace the drive train and drive as is or restore. Car was repainted many years ago, and had the tail lights broken when what looks like a prior owner backed into a wall. That explains the "unique" light fix. Car was the way it looks since I bought it about 15 years ago. No other rear body or structural damage. Tailgate is usable, but needs repair. I bought the car with an indicated 60,000 miles, but true mileage could be 187K.Non-refundable $500 deposit required within 2 days of auction end. Pay in full within a week of end of auction. I cannot store the car and will not ship for you. The car is non-running so please don't ask if it can be driven home to Kentucky. Hubcaps are for display purposed and not included in the sale. Low reserve.Car is located on Eastern Long Island. Open transferable NYS registration. NY does not issue titles for vehicles older than 1973.
No shipping or payment scams, no foreign sales.
