For sale is my 1985Ford Mustang GT 5 Speedmanual with only 56k original miles. I bought the GT from the estate of the original owner following his passing, the GT was ordered and purchased new at Gibson Motor Company in Junction City Oregon on February 13th, 1985. I had it shipped from Oregon to North Carolina in December. The attached Marti report documents all the factory data and options.
The original 5.0L V8 is all stock with the exception of a dual exhaust and gates blue hoses. The original Holley/Motorcraft carb is still fitted. As the engine bay photos show, it is extremely clean for the year. The factory T-5 5 speed manual transmission shifts is in great working condition along with the rest of the driveline.
The tan interior is all original and in good shape overall all. The seats do show some fading as most of these did within a few years of delivery but have no rips or tears. The original carpet is in great shape. The dash is in good shape except for the one small crack below the glovebox. The original AM/FM radio works as it should, as does the onboard computer/clock. All the gauges and aircraft inspired factory instrumentation works as it should.
The exterior of my GT is completely rust free and straight as an arrow. All panels were stripped off the car and the original Oxford White paint was redone in 2006 at the original owners request. It is an excellent quality repaint, the paint is as good if not better than oem quality but does show a few small scratches as one would expect with 12 year old paint. The factory Marchal Foglights are still present in the lower bumper and both work as they should. The factory 10 hole wheels have new Cooper CSS Ultra tires fitted.
This is a great example of a mostly stock 4 eyes GT. The GT is in excellent condition overall and will make any new owner proud. Clean title in hand and many additional pictures available upon request.
