1965 Ford Mustang Description

Selling a 1965 mustang GT350 clone. Car has been completely nut and bolt restored. Car is a very accurate representation of a 65 Shelby. This car was originally a C code car. Body is super solid, with zero rust. Finished in correct Wimbledon white, with guardsman blue stripes. Correct hood, original stainless, all new chrome. Rotunda side mirror. The side scoops are 66 versions, and are ducted and fully functional. The interior is new, redone in its correct black standard trim. Shelby gauge pod house’s correct Shelby tachometer and oil pressure gauge. Radio delete and correct Standard gauge cluster. Steering wheel is the correct for 65 Shelby unit. Rear seat delet, with correct fiberglass shelf. Rear interior mounted spare. 3 inch racing lap belts. The drivetrain is Outstanding, motor is a proper and correct 289 hipo. Less than 200 miles on everything. Engine is a seasoned 66 289 block 0.40 over. Sealed power hyperuetectic pistons, ARP rod bolts, full roller cam. Comp cam 552/538 lift roller. Morel t-bar roller lifters, and Jesel rocker arms. The heads are correct 65 dated hipo with casting numbers 19 and 20. Heads have been completely redone and have been ported. Correct Shelby cobra intake, as well as correct 7qt. T bar cobra oil pan with matching valve covers. Mallory electronic distributor, Holley custom built for this motor, 625 cfm. With race bowls. Correct hipo balancer. My only incorrect mod under hood is the date code correct power steering. Also present are the Monte Carlo bar and export brace. Bell housing is 65 date code correct, new flywheel, new Zoom performance clutch. Trans is a date and application code correct top loader 4 speed, Exhaust is the correct for 65 tri y headers, ceramic coated. Correct for 65 side exit exhaust. rear end is all new from drum to drum. 9 inc, 391 gear with a Motorsport traction lock unit. Police rear drums. 31 spline axles. 1 inch front sway bar, Frame rails are perfect and have been discreetly tied. All floor pans are excellent. Front brakes are Shelby correct Kelsey Hayes disc. Fed by the correct large master cyl. Wheels are 15x7 legendary recreations of the original cragar wheels, they are however 1 inch wider. Wheels are wrapped in Goodyear F-70 polyglas tires. This car runs, drives, shifts and stops as it should. The eng is rated at over 400 hp. It has ridiculous amounts of power and torque. It sounds brutal. That being said, car is docile enough to be driven and enjoyed. No leaks, just a really cool copy of a very iconic car. Located 20min west of detroit. Feel free to ask any questions thanks.
