1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Restomod Tribute. CALIFORNIA CAR ALL ITS LIFE Original C code V8 car with a 289 cubic inch engine. This Mustang is in good running/driving condition with lots of new parts. BODY: Paint is Pepper Gray Metallic with Jet Black Lemans stripes. Paint is base coat clear cut and polished to a high shine. Lemans stripes are painted on not decals. Many new exterior parts and add ons: New Maier Racing Eleanor fiberglass hood scoop and side scoops, new front and rear chrome bumpers, new black billet Cobra gas cap, new black bullet mirrors, new Cobra exterior emblems. The wheels are matte black Bullitt 17x8 front 18x10 rear from a late model Mustang GT, All exterior trim is complete in good shape, exterior lighting, turn signals and brake lights all function properly. ? ENGINE: The engine is a the original 289 cubic inch performance V8 with no issues. Engine runs great no major issues. It has Edelbrock Performer aluminum 4 barrel intake manifold and Edelbrock 600 4V carburetor. The cylinder heads were rebuilt fairly recently. New starter, rebuilt water pump, new coil, new chrome valve covers and air cleaner, recent oil change and coolant flush. Exhaust is stock manifolds running into 2 inch pipe with glasspacks and matte black exhaust tips. Car has a nice deep rumble. Transmission is the original C4 three speed automatic. Shifts good thru all gears no issues. INTERIOR: The interior has been redone with new correct 1968 Mustang standard black seat upholstery, new dash pad, new humphugger center console, new woodgrain Cobra steering wheel, new headliner, new kick panels, new arm rests, new seat belts, new shifter bezel, new radio bezel. Now adding all new door trim and rubber around 1/4 windows.All interior electrical accessories are in working order: Heater, wipers, horn, dome light, gauges and dash illumination. I am now upgraded dash to A Digital set up. ?BRAKES/SUSPENSION: Brakes are manual drum front and rear. Front and rear shoes have been replaced and a new brake master cylinder installed. Car brakes and rides nicely. The steering is manual non-power assist with a new steering center link and pitman arm. Stock suspension with coil springs in front and leaf springs out back. Front and rear shocks were replaced fairly recently and are in good shape. Car rides nicely. New fuel tank sending unit. Trunk is clean no rust new trunk mat with spare cover.
