There's a great deal that can be said about `the car pictured above.
So please accept my personal invitation to enjoy the pictures, description and videos.
The 1964 & 1965 Mustang set records that still have yet to be broken!
It's the only car to sell over a million vehicles in two years!
There has never been another car craze like it (and rightfully so)!
The 65 Mustang met the masses right where they needed to be.
Sleek styling cues, respectful horse power & comfort are just a few reasons why they're timeless.
When it comes to this particular Mustang "class & quality" can be used to define its grade.
The genesis actually starts in Seattle (D.S.O. 74) where it was sold new (24th day of June).
Unfortunately we don't know much about the original owner.That being said there's no doubt it was cherished.



All signs point to it living a sheltered life (accident free).Thankfully after leaving the West Coast it found new life in the Mid West.The relocation still provided plenty of warm days so rust has never been an issue.
I stumbled across it by way of a good friend who is certainly a perfectionist (understatement)!
He's an avid collector and retired machinist with a great deal of integrity.
This trait follows him in everything he attends to "including the restoration of his personal vehicles"!



When the no holds barred program began it was taken to a retired professional body man.
This individual stripped & prepped the exterior before any covering was applied.
It only takes a millisecond to appreciate the vehicles overall appearance.
The fit and finish is unquestionably noteworthy.
All of the factory gaps and body lines agree with original tooling specifications.
The quarters, fenders, hood and trunk lid are all above reproach!
Both fender aprons, radiator support and valances are rust free and flawless!
Once the foundation received a seal of approval the journeyman pressed forward.
Next in line was to lay down what most have deemed "an absolutely stunning shade of Brilliant Blue Metallic paint"!


It's amazing how color can revolutionize and define a classic car!
The hue and tint on this one really must be seen in person to be truly appreciated!



The base coat clear coat enamel really shines in direct sunlight!
Under different conditions (at dusk) the sapphire surface transforms into a deep mulberry shade.


If you are sick of traditional red, blue & black cars "consider this one the cure"!
Hope you're a people person!
Expect cell phone cameras to stay busy & plenty of questions to arise once the car covers lifted.
At any rate after the cars pigment had taken shape each & every piece of chrome was replaced!




You'll find exceptional bumpers (front to rear), fender emblems, grill emblems and a pristine fuel cap!
The quarter ornaments, door handles, bumperettes and tail light bezels weren't left out of the game plan either (all new & extremely nice)!

Once either door is breached the interior springs to life!
The cockpit is anything but subtle.Brushed aluminum accents and stainless overtones give it an upscale vibe.




Both seats produce the sort of creature comfort reserved for modern luxury vehicles.



TMI cushions / foam were bond to the spring before new upholstery was appointed.
There is a flawless rear bench waiting to be enjoyed as well.



A high quality & durable new carpet is sealed to the chassis (shielded by pony floor mats).


You can also expect to find a new dash pad, instrument cluster, package tray, heater core & heater motor.


Right to left are a pair of impeccable door panels and accessories (crank handles, door handles, etc) with new sill plates.



For good measure another set of manual gauges were instituted to ensure reliability.



Yes they're all functioning (oil, volts & temp).The electrical wiring has even been replaced!
Want to pump up the tunes "but not interested in an 8 track player"?
No worries this classic radio has been rebuilt and is mated to a four way speaker system (auxiliary input for ipod installed as well)!
All of the tinted glass is damage free.
In closing the inside of this top notch blue oval compliments the exterior exceptionally well.

Now we know that a classic Ford Mustang can't be considered TRUEBLUE without having a powerful V/8!

A strapping modified built 302 lays in wait for unsuspecting Camaros!
The block has been completely rebuilt & has excellent Horse Power!

This engine was bored 60 over.It also has a hydraulic cam & lifters.The heads have been balanced, ported & polished!
An Edlebrock intake and carburetor keeps the fuel evenly distributed!
The internals are protected by a set of signature valve covers & air cleaner.


The distributor itself is stock and rebuilt with the curve set internally.It is also matted to a pertronics ignition.
Finally there's a new MSD coil, solenoid and taylor wires!




GO AHEAD / DRIVE WITHCONFIDENCE!!!



If you thirst to lay some rubber this pony will be happy to accommodate you!
A T/5 Tremec five speed transmission is nestled in between the buckets.




It also has been totally rebuilt with a new clutch assembly!


Dependability is a cinch thanks in part to a new solenoid, pressure regulator, 3 core aluminum radiator / fan shroud.



This beauty fires right up & starts every time. It has a new starter, alternator, battery hoses & belts!




For those who treasure precision handling a new Borgeson power steering system and IDIDIT tilt steering column is in place.



New oil filter, fuel pump, fuel tank, sending unit and lines have been planted front to back.




The suspension is in remarkable condition.



Here's a short list of the work & parts:New springs, upper control arms, shocks, spring perches, rubber bushings, etc.




The lower control arm, inner mounts and strut rods have been updated to ensure proper alignment.
The differential is a 3.55 gear ratio with open rear end (new gears / seals as well).

Stopping this dream machine is a piece of cake!
At all four corners there are disc brakes with new spindles.
A new master cylinder, calipers, rotors, semi metallic pads, brake shoes including the wheel seals.




All of the rubber and metal lines are also new.
I believe most enthusiast get the picture at this point.
Here you have a no excuse near perfect classic pony car that can be driven anywhere!
Nothing could be better than cruising this Fall in your iconic Ford with assurance!
Yesteryear is closer than ever!Every time the throttle is mashed a sweet note is sung by aid of a new chambered exhaust system!
Furthermore there's a nostalgic set of 50 Series Flow Master mufflers that work in conjunction with an H pipe!
