1940 Ford Deluxe Deluxe Description

My wife and I have owned this car for over 35 years. Our family has logged many miles over the years and have had many fun times and great memories. Due to age and illness we have decided to let it go to a new owner. This car was built in the mid 50’s and other than regular maintenance and upgrades it remains the original Hot Rod as it was 65 years ago. Because the car has been in storage, these items have been replaced: NEW BATTERY, OIL AND FILTER CHANGE, NEW PLUGS, POINTS AND CONDENSER, NEW MECHANICAL FUEL PUMP, NEW ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP, NEW FUEL REGULATOR, NEW BRAKE WHEEL CYLINDERS, etc. The front driver’s side door glass is cracked but intact. As seen in the photos, the rear driver’s side door has minor sheet metal damage but the hinges are fine and the door operates as it should. The tires have good tread but they are pretty old. Also along with the $500 of items that have been replaced, well over $500 of miscellaneous spare parts and hardware will go to the buyer. A last minute addition is a custom built miniature 3 ft x 5 ft horse trailer that was pulled behind the car on longer trips. Thanks for reading.
