I ordered this 1970 Mustang Mach 1 from Ford, and picked it up on December 17th, 1969, from Schneider Ford in Kansas City, MO.( I was 20 years old).It was involved in a couple of minor accidents over the years. Sometime in the '70's I decided to restore it. I partially disassembled it, and that's as far as I got. It's sat for 40+ years in my garage.
Bright Yellow with black interior. It has Factory rear spoiler, Rear Window louvers, Folding rear seat, Power front Disc Brakes, Power Steering, AM/ 8 Track Stereo Radio, Factory Tachometer, 351 Cleveland Engine W/two barrel carb, single exhaust, console, hood scoop. It came with a 3 spd transmission, but I had a 4 spd transmission, with Hurst shifter, installed later. 4 spd transmission is still in it. No Air Conditioning.Marti Report(see pic) _ H code
Mileage is 101,780. Many parts have disappeared over the years.ALMOST ALL INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PARTS WILL NEED TO BE RESTORED.
PARTS THAT I KNOW ARE MISSING: Front & Rear Bumpers, front Grille is broken, most of the chrome trim is missing, carpet,Rear Honeycomb Panel, Radiator Fan Shroud, Engine Distributor and thermostat housing(??), Battery, most of the Mach 1 Rocker moldings, Hood is from another vehicle and has a rusted hole on the underside, front shocks,Exhaust and muffler(exhaust manifolds are present), tires are bad (hold air for a few days). Also Rear quarter panel extensions have been filled with body putty(see pic). Front Seats and other interior parts have deteriorated over the years, dash pad is cracked.Contact me to inspect the vehicle or for more pictures.
