classic vintage chrome hot street rod lake pipes fuel injection
1950 Ford Other Streetrod Description
Shoebox Fords like this 1950 Ford Coupe make for some great streetrods. After all, they were built to take a V8, and so there's' always something extra-special under the hood (this one now has fuel-injected Caddy power!) Plus, slick paint, a leather-lined A/C interior, and a ton of custom details makes this the best for flair and comfort.
The paint obviously sets this machine apart, but first take a moment to look at all the custom work done before the first drop was sprayed on. The bumpers and trim were expertly deleted for a smooth style. In fact, that's a full custom front end that was created with an ultra-smooth style, billet grille, clear blue-dot headlights, and frenched housings. You may just have to tell people this is a Ford, because they truly made something sleek and unique here. The full car was done in a two-tone gray with a bold and intricate orange and red striping package encircling the whole car as a clear separation line. It looks stinking as it expands in the door line, and we particularly like the rear where it draws added attention to Ford's artful taillight arrangement. Not only is this a full custom build, but they also made sure to give it the classic street machine elements, like the dual spotlights, intricate wheel covers, and lake pipes.
When you open the door, even the door jambs are painted to continue the car's color theme. It's the sign of an exceptionally detailed build, and it also lets the orange stripe almost seamlessly continue inside to keep dividing the light and dark tones. Oh yes, it's going to impress plenty of people. And because they invested plenty to get the interior looking so good, they also made sure it was a great place to spend some time. You have plush leather upholstery, and the front bucket seats power adjust. There's a custom center console that houses the controls for the power windows, AM/FM/CD stereo, and cold-blowing air conditioning. You get a sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and that gives you a good view of the TPI Tech gauge package.
The upgrades continue under the hood. This has the unmistakable look of a fuel-injected powerhouse. The 5.7-liter LT1 motor was borrowed from a Cadillac to deliver both power and smoothness. Plus, the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive was added, too. As you look underneath the car, you'll see more improvements from the GM family, including a Monte Carlo independent front end and a strong S10 rear. Add in power steering, power brakes, and modern cruising tires, and this custom coupe will take you in comfort near or far.
Complete with build receipts, this gives you a slick presentation in a package that was built to drive. So this cool custom Ford coupe is an easy way to get the best of everything. Call now!
