Ford Motor Company only produced 4,085 Mustang Fastbacks with the GT option in 1969… making this car one of the rarest of the rare. On top of that, this factory “Indian Fire Paint” GT car has only 19,937 original, documented miles! Is this the lowest mile 1969 Mustang GT in the world??... I don’t know, but it could be!

I have the history on this car with paperwork. The Mustang was in storage from 1973 until it was sold in 1990. That owner had the car completely nut and bolt restored in 1999-2000. (the engine was not rebuilt at that time). The car was then sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2000. That owner had the engine pulled and a complete original engine rebuild done in 2007. The Mustang has been carefully maintained and sparingly driven since that time as well.

The car runs and drives excellent, it is numbers matching… & as many of the original parts were preserved and used as possible during the restoration. (Side Note: I have driven the car about 200 miles myself in the past week) … the car is a real pleasure to drive and a big-time head turner with the awesome paint color!

The 4V carburetor currently running on the car is Autolite & correct however it is not THE original, I do have the original carb in a box along with a rebuild kit. The radio is not original either, however it has a slide that moves to appear as the original AM radio even though you can enjoy FM music.

The tires on the car right now are brand new Cooper Cobra Radial GT’s. P215/70R14’s. It also comes with a complete set of Firestone Wide Ovals F70x14 Belted tires and wheels. (original wheels)

The paint on the car is as slick as glass and the body is straight as a gun barrel.
