1967 Ford Ranchero 500 Description

This 1967 Ford Ranchero 500 has some cool muscle car style and the dual-quad V8 to back up this appearance. And when it's packed in an all-red unique pickup body, you know you're looking at the best mix of power and distinction...and all for a value price.

We bet it's been a while since you've seen a Ranchero based on fifth-generation Fairlane, right? That's because these are rare. Ford churned out about five times more hardtop Fairlanes than they did Rancheros in 1967. So how many of those do you think survived over half a century looking this good? The panels look great, the full-length trim is complete, and the bumpers are wide and bright - so you can really see the intricate detail that when into creating this unique car/pickup. And this one has true muscle car appeal. After all, red is an aggressive color, and this application is a later update that has a good shine. Plus, you get aggressive features like the stacked headlights, 289 callouts on the fenders, and the stylish 14-inch GT Deluxe wheel covers. They even added a fiberglass hood with a large scoop to signal there's something special within (more in that in a moment.)

Just like the Fairlane 500, the Ranchero 500 is a more premium trim level. So this one gives you some upscale style inside with handsome stitching on the bucket seats, a center console, and lots of chrome on the instrument panel. It's a full sea of red inside, right down to the handsome door panels and dual-spoke factory steering wheel. There are plenty of great classic details, including the AM radio that's on display and the classic spare behind the seat with instruction still pasted to the back wall. But they also gave it the right upgrades with an auxiliary gauge trio and plush floor mats with Ranchero stitching.

The engine bay has a nice look of performance with the long air topper and matching ribbed valve covers. And there's a good reason for this powerful presence. You have Ford's hardy 289 cubic-inch V8 that's now topped with two four-barrel carburetors. Not only can this dual-quad machine inhale deeply, but it also exhales with power and authority as long tube headers feed the dual exhaust. There's even an upgraded aluminum radiator to help keep this full package running cool. A three-speed automatic transmission, Ford 9-inch rear end, and wide BF Goodrich T/As make for a good package for both stoutness and convenience.

Here's a cool all-red Ranchero with a sweet powerhouse under the hood. This classic Ford going to be the star in someone's garage. So don't miss this deal, call today!
