1969 Ford Mustang Fastback 2-Door 351W Mach 1 4SPD.
1969 Ford Mustang Description
This car is being sold with Georgia registration and a bill of sale, it was purchased from a doctor in Virginia that had several cars and he said that there was no title. It is a 1969 Mustang fastback that i am told from three restoration shops that it has been red all its life and that it has every characteristic of a Mach 1 . I sent for the Marti Report and it said it was a fastback in black jade with no a/c. This car as you can see in the pictures from behind the dash and in the frontcowl has its factory red paint still on it. So i called Kevin @ Martiand he told me that ford ran cars out ofsequence on severaloccasion, this is not the first time this has happened . That being said i still believe it to bea Mach 1. It also has factory A/C, rear window defrost vent, rear dual cutouts on the valance and a shaker scoop. It also has a ford hood tach from that era with a what looks to be as a factory rear adjustable spoile, and it is a 4 spd which obviously might not be factory because they are so easy to swap out. Now for the good stuf, it has Total Control front and rear 4 link Suspension withadjustable VariShocksandadjustableStrut rod, also sway bars andsub frameconnectors and center X support . It also has adjustable engine mounts and trans moun, power rack and pinion and a Flaming River tilt colum, It also has Shock Tower Xport braces. It has a new dash pad and with a clean up done on the gauge and clock cluster----they look great and also has new radiobezel. It has a 1972 351W block that is .030 over which you can see on the freeze plugs and not real sure what the specs are on the internals but he told me that on the motor Dyno it made over 400 HP and over 400 ft.lbs of torque which was not enough for him so he swapped out the cam which i have no proof of any of this. It has a March pulley system and a street avenger Holley carb but nodistributor which i found odd but he said he used one from his other ford car to Dyno the motor. It has polished shorty headersand a high torque starter and aexternaloil filter and cooler. It has a ford 9" rear end with 373 gears and what looks like to be some stout aftermarket axles. As for the brakes they are 13" cross drilled rotors with Cobra calipers and the rear are 10.5 rotors with SSBC calipers .It has a very expensive set of HRE wheels with 275/18's rear and 245/18's front on 10.5 rear wheels and 9.0 front's.The headliner is perfect and looks to be all original as is the back seat which is in great shape as is the plastic and also the sun visors.I have replaced the sail panels with new ones and the front bumper and front spoiler .The paint job isat least 10 to 12 years old and was a average paint job at best which i was not concerned with when i bought it because i planned on repainting the car anyways. It had somebubbling on the bottom of thepassengerdoorso he apparently sanded it. It could be wet sanded and buffed to make as a nice driver along with some touch up and blend the corner of the passenger door .It has a top loader 4 spd. and a Hurst shifter and linkage which from what i can tell will need to be modified . It has some after market front seats and only one door panel. The body has had floor pans from what i can tell and it was a average job but the rest of the car seems to be rust free and in nice shape for its age. This car is a blank slat and has a ton of potential to be a awesome Pro touring mustang with some bad ass components but it has to go due to a move and no more garage for storage .This car is being sold as is and i wouldrecommend to come and inspect so there is no misunderstanding on what you are buying. Also on the title listing it would not let me list without checking clear titl, it has only aregistration and bill of sale.Thank you and good luck bidding .
