1979 Ford E-Series Van Conversion by bivouac Description

1979 Ford Econoline 150 Conversion by Bivouac 70's Hippy Surfing Camping Van, 52K original miles, 351 ci, auto trans, this van is in unbelievable shape, original paint and interior (carpet, seats, wall to wall to ceilingred velour diamond pattern are almost in unused shape!!), excellent tires and wheels, quiet exhaust, dual tanks with electric switch-over,great brakes, cold AC, tilt steering, power locks, cruise control,AM/FM Cassette with 4 speakers, CB radio, all original paperwork, owner card, and manuals, rear ladder, roof rack, oldspare tire (original?)with Ford paddle lock, fold down rear seat to bed, everything works! I could go on and on. The seats are a little faded, but this just adds to the vintage look. This van is from North Dakota and was a one owner until recently. It was stored for awhile, so the ownercompletelywent through the vans mechanics-- it seriously runs and drives like it's new in 1979!! We took it up to Payson over July 4th camping --it held 55mph up the mountains with the AC on and 95 degree weather, no shakes, rattles or noisesand didn't miss a beat. There is very little surface rust on the bottomif any and the chrome is in near perfect condition -- looks like ithas never seena winter. Also had a brand new Ford OEM front windshield installed recently. I'm not sure how you even put a price tag on this van, to restoreand match this vintage look would almostbe impossible.
